    National Sales Manager – Kenya

    About the Role 

    • A leading multinational is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead Customer Development operations in Kenya.
    • You will be responsible for driving growth across channels, managing key customer relationships, and leading a high performing field sales team. The role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions that maximise business growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead national Customer Development workforce across strategic accounts and channels
    • Manage distributor joint business planning and customer engagement forums
    • Drive profitability of customers across channels
    • Negotiate trading terms and manage assigned budgets
    • Cascade and implement channel business plans at account level
    • Lead coordination with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR) to deliver growth plans
    • Design and implement sales incentive schemes and field expense initiatives
    • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks
    • Identify team development needs and provide training and coaching

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree minimum
    • 10–12 years’ experience as a Sales Manager or Key Account Manager
    • Strong knowledge and experience in building Route-to-Market channels
    • Experience in distributor management is an advantage
    • Proven stakeholder management with senior executives
    • Experience working in a matrix organization
