FISCAL ANALYST OFFICER I JOB GROUP ‘M’ (NYACASB 7) ONE (1) POST

Duties and responsibilities

A suitable candidate for appointment to this position shall be considered against the following qualifications:

• Monitoring expenditure and maintaining real time budget vote book;
• Preparing expenditure reports and analysis;
• Assisting in budget forecasting;
• Compiling departmental work plans;
• Assisting in budget public participation process;
• Assist members and committees of the Assembly in the analysis of the budgets and other planning documents;
• Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from to time.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Finance/ Commerce (Accounting or Finance option)/ Statistics/Mathematics from a recognized University;
• A certified public accountant (CPA K);
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Kenya’s public budgeting process including preparing procurement plans;
• Meets the requirements of Leadership and Integrity set out in Chapter six of Kenyan Constitution
