    Officer-Marketing & Communication


    The role is responsible for building the brand equity and affinity of the I&M Bank Group brand and for enabling business growth through the development and execution of Through the Line and Tactical marketing campaigns. This includes advertising and promotions, media and public relations, event management, sponsorships, corporate brand management and corporate communications.

    Primary Responsibilities

    The incumbent will report to Manager, Marketing & Communication and will be responsible for:

    Product/Business Marketing

    • Create specific Product Marketing plans for assigned dockets such as Investment Management and Custodial Services, I&M Burbidge Capital, Premium Banking, Personal Banking, Branches, Asset Finance and Insurance Premium Financing etc. and execute them in conjunction with the Products & Business Units.
    • Plan and execute promotion campaigns to foster the sale of selected products and services.

    Campaign Development

    • Execute Go to Market plans/Marketing plans for assigned dockets such as Investment Management and Custodial Services, I&M Burbidge Capital, Premium Banking, Personal Banking, Asset Finance and Insurance Premium Financing through liaison with various media for media buying, placement of ads, monitoring and execution of media plans for campaigns.
    • Manage collateral and campaign development process from research, briefing, concept development through to launch and monitoring & evaluation.


    • Work with the Marketing Manager on all PR requirements for dockets assigned such as: Investment Management and Custodial Services, I&M Burbidge Capital, Premium Banking, Personal Banking, Asset Finance and Insurance Premium Financing.
    • Responsible for Internal Communication development for assigned dockets.

    Invoice Management

    • Secure quotations, seek approvals, issue LPOs and follow up on payments for all invoices.
    • Develop and maintain an invoice register and note invoices received monthly to assist in monitoring advertising and promotional expenses.
    • Prepare a monthly expenditure report for all Marketing Expenses for assigned dockets

    Corporate gifts

    • Conduct inventory checks monthly and monitor the stock levels with branches.
    • Develop and maintain the gifts register and develop the monthly report.
    • Quarterly replenishment of gifts to branches and develop the quarterly report.

    Corporate Events, Sponsorships and Product Launches

    • Plan, coordinate and manage all supplier and collateral approvals and deliveries for all – corporate events, branch openings, product launches. The role will not handle all corporate events and product launches. This role is responsible for the events and products launches within their assigned docket. Branch openings are Adah’s responsibility.
    • Prepare budgets for all events. Not all events.
    • Review and manage sponsorship requests such as Golf Club sponsorships.

    Person Specifications

    Academic qualifications

    • Marketing or Communications Related Degree.


    • 2-3 years’ marketing & communication experience working in FMCG, Telco or Banking industries or a major Advertising Agency with hands-on functional experience.
    • Experience in development of Through the Line Marketing campaigns required.
    • Digital marketing experience would be an added advantage.
