    Partner Sales Account Manager - East, West & Southern Africa (220003N1) Partner Sales Account Manager - East, West & Southern Africa

    Preferred Qualifications
     
    An exciting opportunity within the Africa Channel Sales team to drive growth for Oracle’s business working with and through Oracle’s top partners. This role will support the growth phase for Oracle’s License and Hardware Business in East, West and Southern Africa.

    1. The candidate will be the Alliances & Channels Partner Sales Account Manager with a primary focus on long-term relationships to key partners on CXO level.The focus of this specific role is the future development of key partners as well as current contribution to the partner´s and Oracle´s business.
    2. Our focus is to build an industry leading channel business for Oracle’s portfolio within the Global and local System Integrators, Resellers and Managed Service Providers for the IT market in the region. This exciting role is key to that success.
    3. We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, experienced Partner Sales Account Manager for the African channel sales team to drive impactful results through a complex matrix organization. This individual must operate at a strategic level with strong drive, sales & leadership & presentation skills.

    Key responsibilities:

    1. Building long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners on CXO Level in the region.
    2. Monitor partners’ business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.
    3. Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals.
    4. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies.
    5. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances & Channel standards.
    6. Deliver partner generated pipeline and revenue results in collaboration with internal sales and marketing team

    Key Requirements:

    1. Ability to work independently in complex business environments, to adapt to changes and learn quickly.
    2. Creative & thinking out of the box, coming up with new ideas/approaches and articulate those
    3. Proven sales and/or sales management experience in channel environment preferably in the technology industry. Channel sales experience is strongly desired.
    4. Excellent relationship building skills, comfortable in addressing senior executives
    5. Outstanding experience with our competitors’ landscape of IBM, Dell and EMC is required to be successful in this position.
    6. Strong forecasting, deal management, deal closing and opportunity engagement
    7. Proven track record in achieving sales targets
    8. Business fluent language skills in English are a must.
