    Pharmacist

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Coordinate delivery of pharmaceutical care services for both inpatient and outpatient;
    • Management of patients/clients requiring specialized pharmaceutical services;
    • Supervision of pharmaceutical technologists and support staff deployed in the pharmacy department;
    • Conduct routine training to brief clinicians on updates related to pharmaceutical products and information;
    • Coordinate pharmacovigilance activities and ensure patient safety is guaranteed;
    • Carrying out research in clinical matters; and
    • Developing and implementing therapeutic drug monitoring plans.

    Requirements for appointment

    • Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from an institution recognized by Pharmacy and Poisons Board,
    • Successfully completed one-year (1) internship from a recognized institution;
    • Registration Certificate by the Pharmacy and Poisons board; and
    • Valid annual practicing license.

    Method of Application

    Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original identity cards, academic and professional certificates plus other relevant documents in support of their applications.
