    Product Manager

    Role Purpose:

    The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of innovative products that align with our company’s strategic goals. He/she collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market and ensure their ongoing success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy tailored to the FMCG industry, aligning with the company’s vision and goals, and considering market trends and customer needs.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research within the FMCG sector to identify opportunities, competition, and potential areas for product differentiation.
    • Product Roadmap: Create and manage the product roadmap for FMCG products, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer impact and business value.
    • Agile Development: Champion agile methodologies within the FMCG context to facilitate efficient and iterative product development, ensuring timely delivery and adaptability.
    • Product Launch: Lead product launches for FMCG products, including crafting go-to-market strategies tailored to the distribution industry, and coordinating with suppliers and retailers.
    • Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyze user feedback and market data specific to the FMCG industry to iterate on products and enhance their functionality and distribution efficiency.

    Requirements:

    • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in building technology solutions for tech-enabled businesses, demonstrating a deep understanding of the intersection between technology and business strategy.
    • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with engineering teams to bring products from concept to market.
    • Demonstrated experience leading successful product launches that leverage technology to drive business growth and innovation.
    • Functional experience in the following fields is valuable in the role: go-to-market strategy, distribution strategy, sales force effectiveness, customer experience / centricity / loyalty, business development, pricing, CAPEX planning, operational efficiency / process optimization
    • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
    • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to think strategically and adapt product plans to the fast-paced and dynamic FMCG distribution landscape.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with FMCG suppliers, distributors, and internal teams.
    • Collaboration: Proven experience working collaboratively with FMCG suppliers, distributors, and cross-functional teams.
