    Program Coordinator-EGF

    Key Responsibilities 

    • In liaison with regional and branch leadership, lead and supervise overall implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the training Program at regional level.
    • Guide mobilization of MSMEs for training under Young Africa Works Program in the region
    • Provide advice and technical support to the EDFI trainers to deliver quality capacity building within designated region.
    • Identifying qualified potential pipeline of target of Micro, Small and Medium enterprises for support under Young Africa Works Program.
    • Review and approve staff program work plans, budgets & facilitation expenses.
    • Quality assurance: Attending training and visiting selected MSMEs to ensure delivery of quality training support.
    • Ensuring that MSMEs trained under the Young Africa Works program in the region are seamlessly linked to financial access from Equity Group in the region.
    • Staff productivity management at supervisory level i.e., Staff mentoring and coaching and leave management.
    • Program monitoring and reporting including compiling progress reports for all EDFI trainers in the region allocated as required by the Young Africa Works program.
    • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders/partners who collaborate with relationships.
    • Ensure development and dissemination Success stories &lessons learnt.
    • Participate in the development, review, and update of training materials and processes in the training program.
    • Monitoring, reporting, reviewing, and evaluating the progress of the training program.
    • Ensuring compliance to program policies and procedures

    Qualifications, Experience 

    • Mean Grade of C+ in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.
    • University degree, preferably in Entrepreneurship or Business Management/Administration or related areas.
    • Master’s degree in business studies/ commerce/ Entrepreneurship & related fields will be added advantage.
    • Any other University Degree with a Diploma in Entrepreneurship or Business Management or related area.
    • At least 5-year work experience supporting Micro, Small and Medium sized enterprises with training, mentorship, and advisory services.
    • At least 3-year work experience as a supervisor.
    • Business training and mentorship certification, priority will be given to SiYB trained and certified mentors.  Strong understanding of provision of financial services and training to MSME is added advantage
