    Program Manager - Women Leadership Academy (WLA)

    Reports To: Head of Sales
    Department: Sales
    Location: Nairobi (Hybrid – Office & Field)

    About the Role

    • Our client is seeking a dynamic and purpose-driven Program Manager to lead and grow the Women’s Leadership Academy (WLA) — an empowering initiative designed to strengthen leadership capacity, visibility, and influence among women professionals.
    • The Program Manager will be responsible for driving enrolments, managing client relationships, coordinating program delivery, and expanding the academy’s visibility through partnerships and industry engagement. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone passionate about leadership, gender equity, and talent development.

    • The WLA program equips women leaders with the confidence, strategic perspective, and interpersonal skills to lead effectively, influence change, and achieve measurable impact. The program emphasizes leadership presence, communication mastery, and authentic personal growth — enabling participants to advance their careers while shaping inclusive organizational cultures.

    Role Overview

    • The Program Manager – WLA drives the program’s growth, visibility, and operational excellence. At the foundational stage, the role involves gaining a deep understanding of WLA’s philosophy and how it empowers organizations to build inclusive leadership pipelines and nurture female talent.

    Key Focus Areas:

    • Program Growth: Drive enrolments and revenue through consultative selling and client engagement.
    • Visibility: Expand WLA’s presence through partnerships, events, and leadership forums.
    • Collaboration & Excellence: Work closely with facilitators, marketing, and support teams to ensure seamless execution.
    • Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, associations, and networks to broaden reach and impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales & Business Development

    • Generate enrolments and revenue for the Women’s Leadership Academy (WLA).
    • Conduct consultative discussions with organizations to identify women’s leadership development needs.
    • Present tailored WLA solutions that demonstrate ROI in leadership growth and diversity outcomes.
    • Deliver professional presentations and demos to HR, L&D, and senior leadership teams.
    • Maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and marketing-generated leads.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Serve as the main point of contact for participants and client organizations.
    • Build long-term relationships with HR, D&I, and business leaders.
    • Ensure smooth onboarding, consistent communication, and post-program follow-ups.
    • Collect success stories and testimonials highlighting program impact.

    Program Coordination & Delivery

    • Oversee logistical and operational aspects of program delivery.
    • Coordinate with facilitators, venues, and participants to ensure professional execution.
    • Manage attendance, communication, and training materials.
    • Support facilitators during sessions and ensure participant engagement and satisfaction.

    Reporting & Insights

    • Maintain accurate client and pipeline data in CRM tools.
    • Prepare regular reports on enrolments, revenue, and client activity.
    • Monitor participant feedback, conversion rates, and completion statistics.
    • Provide insights to improve program design and delivery.

    Brand & Market Development

    • Represent the program at women’s leadership events, HR forums, and business conferences.
    • Build professional networks to promote WLA and share success stories.
    • Collaborate with marketing on content creation and promotional campaigns.
    • Position WLA as a thought leader in women’s leadership development.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Leadership, Human Resources, or a related field.
    • Experience: 3–6 years in program management, leadership development, or corporate training. Experience in gender inclusion or women’s empowerment programs is an added advantage.

    Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Proven consultative selling and client-relationship management abilities.
    • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
    • High emotional intelligence and professionalism.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace tools.
