    Project Procurement Manager (Hospitality Construction Equipment)

    • Our client a leading Hospitality Group is seeking to hire a Project Procurement Manager(Hospitality Construction Equipment) to support procurement for its hospitality buildings. He /She will be responsible for responsible for conducting and coordinating procurement and logistical activities for active projects in East Africa region. The successful candidate will also be tasked with building new relationships with suppliers and negotiating the best possible quality and pricing. Must have 5+ years of experience as a project procurement manager preferably construction equipment for hospitality projects.

    Key Requirements: 

    • Receive Specification documents | Spec books from relevant professionals or internal teams and utilize this information as a guide for procurement
    • Work with team members and professionals to prepare procurement cost estimates for early budgeting
    • Develop a Purchase Order numbering and tracking system to integrate with the existing company
    • Link approved quotations to a Purchase Order and place orders, accordingly, followed by relevant deposit
    • Track all orders and manufacture lead-times, to ensure that production items are on-track. Coordinate with relevant professionals on any quality control inspections.
    • Manage and track the logistics relevant to timely delivery of items, to any temporary holding facilities and ultimately to site/s.
    • Manage supplier | vendor payments related to production and final Collaborate and integrate into the Cost Control and Finance functions, set up for cost management purposes.
    • Where suppliers | manufacturers are not specified, identify the available options for supply of specified goods.
    • Coordinate Importation | Clearing and other relevant logistical

    Qualifications:

    • Relevant bachelor’s degree.
    • Must have 5+ years of experience as a project procurement manager preferably construction equipment for hospitality projects.
    • Knowledge of local and international suppliers for the hospitality, travel and tourism
    • Knowledge and experience in procurement management and tracking systems & documents.
