    Renewable Energy- Channel Distribution Sales Manager

    Key responsibilities

    • In charge of recruiting key distributors and support the distribution of our Channel business in the market
    • Identify new clients in the renewable energy business and establish rapport with potential/ actual clients.
    • Preparation of contracts, quotations and arrange for exhibitions, trainings, presentation and industry events in liaison with the marketing department
    • Monitor market trends, competition, and customer preferences to support the distributors
    • Identify long and short-term issues that need to be addressed and advise the management on strategic issues relating to new proposals, problem areas etc.
    • Provide training, marketing materials, and sales support to channel business partners to help them effectively promote and sell solar products
    • Develop and nurture leads through various channels, including outbound calls, networking, digital marketing, and referrals
    • Support distributors with necessary services required and provide relationship management to ensure a high-level customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business
    • Manage distributor accounts to avoid deferred payments and control bad debts
    • Document sale activities, generate reports outlining progress towards sales targets/achievements and maintain client’s transaction records.
    • Undertake inventory management by monitoring inventory levels to ensure that products are readily available to meet customer demand
    • Monitor customer satisfaction and feedback related to distribution and work to improve on their satisfaction

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales and Marketing, Renewable energy, Engineering, or a related field
    • At least 5-7 years’ experience in renewable energy-channel distribution, 3 of which are as a sales manager
    • Proficiency in Solar Energy knowledge, distribution strategy, sales and marketing, financial management,
    • market research and analysis, contract and basic legal knowledge.
    • Behavioral Competencies: Communication, Relationship management, Problem-solving, Adaptability,
    • Negotiation skills, Customer focus, Ethical conduct and Time management
