Restaurant Supervisor at Nexus Staffing Solutions

Our client, a well-established restaurant brand, is urgently seeking to recruit a Restaurant Supervisor to join their Nairobi branches. The role holder will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise restaurant staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating service.
• Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Monitor stock usage and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation in the restaurant.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy restaurant, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or a related field will be an added advantage.
