Sales Team Leader-Payroll Loans at Centum

Reporting to the Business Development Manager; the team leader will be responsible for generating new and buy-off payroll loans.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Sourcing for new business, develop and manage a healthy pipeline on all product lines.
2. Manage and sustain a portfolio of clients, building long term relationships founded on efficient and reliable support for their business.
3. Perform quarterly competitor analysis to determine optimal pricing, price review and surveys to ensure profitability and sustainability.
4. Maintain loan book arrears as per our internal criteria.
5. Maintain Relationship Plans for all key customers in the portfolio such that contact with customers is prioritized.
6. Developing action plans and activities for the customers, giving timely reports on activities, competitor activities and formulating strategies.
7. Ensuring Sales agents retention
8. Ensure continuous and thorough training of sales agents through for mastery of product knowledge.
9. Review of files from the sales agents before Data entry.
10. Coordination of marketing activities in the team.
11. Ensure sales, marketing and training reporting as per the business requirements
12. Attend all regional planning meetings, and positively contribute with regards to performance and projections.

Required Education 

• Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience required.

1. Good product knowledge of the payroll product.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in payroll lending with a strong individual performance record.
3. Ability to supervise sales agents and deliver well under pressure and meet deadlines.
4. Good communication skills both oral and written.
5. Experience in the operations function with strong planning, organizing, co-ordination ability.
6. The ability to execute with minimum supervision.
7. Excellent computer skills.
