Salary: Ksh 20k-25k

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Providing security to company properties at designated time
2. Ensure orderliness during the assignment at all time
3. Controlling and monitoring movement to and from the assigned property responsibly
4. Patrolling the property as directed by the supervisor to ensure safety at all times
5. Reporting ant unusual happenings which could amount to security threats or any harmful happenings to the supervisor
6. Answering alarms and investigate disturbances
7. Write/Submit reports of daily activities and/or irregularities like equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences
8. Call police or fire department in case of emergency, like fire or presence of unauthorized persons within the premises
9. Warn persons of violations and also apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary
10. Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas/the premises
11. Inspect as well as adjust security systems, equipment or machinery to make sure operational use to detect evidence of tempering
12. Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
13. Communication; establish and maintain effective communication between the security supervisor and the entire team at all times to ensure optimum team work.
14. Carrying out duty patrol across the work station(s)
15. Adhere to all company services and operating standards.
16. Attend the security guards parade
17. Any other job advised by Security Supervisor from time to time

REQUIREMENTS

1. Should be physically fit
2. Can run and walk fast
3. Standard height with min. 5'6″
4. Should have National Youth Service training
5. Form four leaver (min D+)
6. Pass identity and criminal record check
7. Good communication skills Added advantage
8. 2 Years of work experience having worked for any security company
