Senior Laboratory Technologist - Isiolo at Kenya Medical Research - KEMRI

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving/collecting, recording of specimens
• Processing and analyses
• Preparing reagents
• Recording and reporting of results
• Dispatching the results for clinical/Research management
• Routine and daily maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Ensuring adherence to biosafety and biosecurity guidelines
• Preparation of Standards Operations Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and process.

Vacancy Requirements:

• At least four (4) years’ relevant work experience    Mandatory
• Diploma in either Medical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution    Mandatory
• Registration Certificate issued by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) where applicable; or any other recognized regulatory body    Mandatory
• Valid practicing license from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists where applicable    Mandatory
• Proficiency in computer applications    Mandatory
• Demonstrated work performance and results    Mandatory
• Communication skills    Mandatory
