Job Purpose Statement

The Senior Manager Network and Network Security role is to plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations that facilitate the stable operation of the bank’s Core Network, Network Security and Data centre infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas; particularly network infrastructure, data communications/telecommunications systems and Data Centre. In collaboration with external vendors, system experts and consultants. The Senior Manager Core network and data centre will schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

Ideal Job Specifications

Academic:

• University degree in Information technology/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Telecommunications.

Professional:

• Training and certification in ICT Service Management e.g. ITIL, Cloud Certifications, Network related certification e.g. CCNA, Security related certification CCSA etc.
• Business Continuity training

Desired work experience:

• Five years’ experience in security and Network infrastructure support in medium to large organizations.
• Three years in supervisory role
