    Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager

    • In this pivotal role, you will be the architect of strategic direction and operational excellence in our warehouse and logistics operations.
    • As the coordinator behind our inbound logistics, you will orchestrate seamless coordination with clearing agents, customs authorities, and government bodies to ensure the smooth flow of goods across borders.
    • Your expertise will be instrumental in executing duty remission schemes, maximizing cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring the utmost accuracy in import-related financial transactions.
    • But that is just the beginning - You will also set the gold standard for warehousing and inventory management practices across our organization's operations in five African markets. Your strategic vision will drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in our inventory management processes.
    • As a champion of efficiency and cost optimization, you will identify opportunities to streamline warehouse operations across multiple countries, implementing strategies to minimize operational expenses without compromising on quality or service. Your leadership will extend to outbound logistics, where you will establish and enforce global standards to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.
    • And let's not forget about your team. You will lead, mentor, and develop our warehouse team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your guidance will empower them to enhance their skills and capabilities in warehousing and logistics management, driving our collective success forward.
    • As the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, you will provide regular updates on key performance metrics, strategic initiatives, and challenges. Your effective communication skills will foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on our strategic objectives and swift resolution of any issues that may arise.
    • But it's not just about efficiency and excellence—it is also about compliance and safety. You will ensure that all warehouse and logistics activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies, prioritizing the well-being of our team and the integrity of our operations.
