Shop Attendant - Auto Spares at Nexus Staffing Solutions

Our client, a growing auto spares shop, is looking to hire a reliable and customer-focused Shop Attendant to support day-to-day shop operations and ensure customers receive efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and understand their auto spares requirements. 
• Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate spare parts. 
• Receive, arrange and issue stock as required. 
• Maintain an organized and clean shop environment. 
• Process sales and payments accurately. 
• Operate the POS system and maintain accurate sales records. 
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies. 
• Support stock taking and reconciliation. 
• Handle customer enquiries professionally. 
• Perform other shop-related duties as assigned. 

Requirements

• Previous experience in a shop attendant, sales or retail role is preferred. 
• Knowledge of auto spare parts is an added advantage. 
• Experience using a POS system is an added advantage. 
• Good customer service and communication skills. 
• Honest, reliable and responsible. 
• Good numeracy and basic record-keeping skills. 
• Ability to work in a busy retail environment. 
• Must be willing to work in Githurai.
