Software Engineering Intern at CarePay Ltd

Main purpose of the job

Join us for a 3-6months program offering personal and professional growth as you work with experienced team members. We are looking for interns who will be part of our agile development team, building and working on software systems in CarePay’s preferred programming language. The interns will be exposed to producing detailed specifications, fixing bug reports, writing the program code and executing support request. This will be a learning opportunity, as a result a lot of the work will be determined based on the skill level and skills acquired.

Educational Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:‍

• Completed / Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field.
• Have 3-6 months hands-on coding experience(self-taught or otherwise) in languages including but not limited to: Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python among others.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Eye for details.
• Good presentation skills.
