Special Class Instructors at United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON)

Responsibilities will include;

• Assist in developing outreach initiatives, marketing materials, schedules, and Wellness content that engage and inspire clients.
• The instructors will be teaching special classes like Zumba / Aqua Zumba, Salsa, Rhumba, Yoga, Spin, Taekwondo, Pilates, Aerobics, Cross-fit, Acapella, Barre, Aqua Aerobics etc.
• The instructor works towards creating excellence in the Fitness Centre reporting directly to the UNEWC Manager.
• Responsible for preparing exercise classes and ensuring the studio/Aerobics room or and or any indoor and outdoor spaces, are clean, getting it ready suitable for client use.
• Promoting fitness classes to both members and non-members for purposes of increasing or sustaining membership.
• Have a client database or profile in his record for purposes of reference.
• Advice clients on health and fitness related matters.
• Perform other related duties as required. Events Facilitation:
• Plan, organize, and facilitate fitness-related events, workshops, and wellness activities.
• Coordinate with the events team to manage logistics and event promotion.
• Assist in developing marketing materials, schedules, and event content that engage and inspire clients.
• Collaborate with the event team to ensure successful event execution.
• Gather feedback from participants to improve future events and fitness programs

Qualifications/special skills

• High School Certificate is required. Certificate in Zumba / Aqua Zumba, Salsa, Rhumba, Yoga, Spin, Taekwondo, Pilates, Aerobics, Cross-fit, Acapella, Barre, Aqua Aerobics and any other class is required.
• A minimum of 1 year experience from a reputable organization/setting is required in teaching Zumba / Aqua Zumba, Salsa, Rhumba, Yoga, Taekwondo, Pilates, Aerobics, Cross-fit, Acapella, Barre, Aqua Aerobics and any other.
• Qualifications and knowledge of fitness and products and equipment is required.
