    Sports Officer II

    Ref No. CPSB/TTC/075/2022

    Duties and responsibilities 

    • Develop an evaluation strategy for the implementation of sports development programs in the county
    • Liaise with relevant sports stakeholders in implementation of sports development programs to identify the needs of youths.
    • Develop work plans on sports development programs and submit timesheets that comply with administrative responsibilities.
    • Generate interest ad increase participation in sports.
    • Provide leadership and organizational skills in sports.
    • Disseminate information on organized sport-related projects and programs.
    • Increase participation in various sports activities of all kinds to reduce ill health, crime and other anti-social activities.

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science or Recreation & Sports Management.
    • Knowledge of professional standards relevant to the area of work.

    • Interpersonal skills
    • Organizational skills
    • Ability to work under pressure Ability to work well with teams
    • Problem solving skills
    • Supervisory skills
    • Meet the requirement of Chapter Six of the Kenyan Constitution
