Support UNDP With Story Editing at United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

Task description
We are looking for one online volunteers tsupport us with the editing and translation of the stories received. Tasks:
Editing

• Undertake a line edit of the first- draft text and return marked-up edits using track changes in MS Word.
• Guarantee delivery of edited text tUNDP by the date specified.
• Ensure all corrections are inserted accurately and add comments in MS Word if the explanation is needed.
• Be available tcommunicate with the project team during this editing phase (in the time description period specified), and following the submission of edits, be available for consultation online or by phone for follow-up questions. Translating tPortuguese, English, and French
• Once the project team approves the English draft, translate the document intPortuguese and French including associated graphics and references.
• Ensure the quality assurance of the products and services provided.
• Advise UNDP on matters pertaining tthis assignment.

Requirements
Required experience
Required:

• Work experience of at least 2 years in a related field,
• Previous experience as a volunteer and/or promotion of volunteerism will be an asset.
• Solid skills and experience in computer skills, including full proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc) and other IT applications and office technology equipment;
