    Technical Sales Executive

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    • As the Technical Sales Executive, your role involves prospecting, pitching and selling technical products/solutions while implementing sales strategy for the company. This encompasses collaborating with customers to comprehend their technical requirements, crafting and delivering technical presentations, and finalizing deals. Additionally, your responsibilities include cultivating customer relationships, assessing and validating sales prospects, and successfully concluding deals involving EOIs, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and tenders. A comprehensive grasp of the companys products and services, along with a keen understanding of customer technical needs is essential.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Customer Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with customers by comprehending their requirements and suggesting appropriate product offerings.
    • Proposal Development and Product Demonstration: Create and present technical proposals, engaging presentations, and detailed product specifications to customers, illustrating how products or solutions align with their needs.
    • Technical Consultancy: Offer technical guidance and assistance to customers both before and after sales. This involves translating complex technical information into understandable terms.

    Sales Strategy Development, Reporting, and Forecasting:

    • Collaborate with the sales team to formulate sales strategies leveraging the technical advantages of products to achieve sales targets.
    • Prepare sales reports and forecasts, collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data and trends.
    • Market Research: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer requirements to effectively market the products.
    • Deal/Bid Closure: Manage the closure of deals and bids, encompassing EOIs, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and tenders.

    Requirements
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT, engineering, or a relevant technical field.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or a similar role.
    • Relevant Professional Training

    Other Competencies

    • Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth expertise in technical products within the ICT, Telecom, and Engineering fields. In addition, sustain a profound understanding of product specifications, features, and advancements.
    • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the sales team and internal stakeholders to boost sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Also, demonstrate the ability to articulate and clarify complex technical information in a manner accessible to non-technical individuals.
    • Customer Engagement: Exhibit robust customer service, negotiation, and sales capabilities and demonstrate a readiness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
