    Technology & Business Intelligence Lead

    ROLE PURPOSE 

    This role is responsible for transforming the organisation into a data driven enterprise through the design, implementation, and optimisation of business intelligence platforms, CRM systems, and live dashboard reporting tools.

    The Technology and Business Intelligence Lead will analyse business performance and underlying drivers, establish strong data governance standards, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed planning and strategic decision making. The role will also oversee system integrations and cross functional reporting frameworks to support commercial growth and operational efficiency.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

    Technology and Business Intelligence Leadership

    • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Technology and Business Intelligence teams.
    • Develop and execute the organisation’s BI and CRM roadmap aligned to business development objectives.
    • Drive adoption of digital tools and reporting systems across departments to strengthen performance visibility and accountability.
    • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and analytics solutions to enhance reporting capability and operational efficiency.

    CRM Management and Optimisation

    • Own the implementation, configuration, optimisation, and organisation wide adoption of Zoho CRM.
    • Ensure CRM structures support effective lead management, sales pipeline tracking, and customer lifecycle management.
    • Train and support users to maximise system utilisation and data accuracy.
    • Monitor CRM performance and recommend improvements to strengthen commercial performance tracking.

    Data Governance and System Integration

    • Establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks to uphold data integrity, accuracy, and reliability across all systems.
    • Manage system integrations between Zoho CRM, Elva DMS, Microsoft Dynamics, Zapier, and Power BI.
    • Oversee data modelling processes, both logical and physical, to support structured analytics and reporting.
    • Ensure seamless flow of information across platforms to enable consolidated business insights.

    Business Performance Reporting and Analytics

    • Design, develop, and maintain live dashboards displayed across office screens covering sales performance, customer experience metrics, marketing analytics, and key operational indicators.
    • Deliver structured daily, weekly, and monthly reports to leadership covering sales, pipeline performance, lead conversion, and customer satisfaction metrics.
    • Conduct in depth analysis of business performance trends and underlying drivers.
    • Collaborate with the Growth team on marketing analytics and with Sales leadership on pipeline visibility and forecasting

    Stakeholder Collaboration and Decision Support

    • Partner with senior management to translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and reporting solutions.
    • Present insights in a clear and structured manner to support strategic planning and performance improvement initiatives.
    • Support cross functional teams with data driven recommendations to enhance revenue growth and operational effectiveness.

    Administration and Continuous Improvement

    • Prepare management reports and executive summaries as required.
    • Maintain documentation of data structures, reporting standards, and integration frameworks.
    • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, system efficiencies, and analytics capability across the organisation.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor in line with business objectives

    Requirements

    JOB COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS)

    Academic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Strategic Management, or a related field.

    Professional Qualifications

    • Relevant certifications in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, CRM systems, or ERP platforms will be an added advantage.

    Relevant Work Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a directly related role within a fast paced and dynamic business environment.
    • Demonstrated experience in strategy development and implementation within Business Intelligence, ERP, and CRM integrated environments.
    • Strong expertise in data modelling and analytical processes.
    • Experience leading technical or analytics teams and driving system adoption across business units.

    Technical & Professional Know-How

    • In-depth knowledge of rules, techniques, and best practices across multiple sports, including tennis, Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Excel, Zoho, and Tableau.
    • Strong understanding of CRM configuration and optimization.
    • Experience in managing data integrations across multiple enterprise systems.
    • Knowledge of data governance principles and reporting best practices.

    Functional Skills

    • Strong analytical and problem solving capability.
    • Advanced Excel and data visualization skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
    • High level of organization and time management capability.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross functional environment.
