Waitstaff - Bar Attendant (Barlady) at Nexus Staffing Solutions

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a busy and well-established restaurant in Langata, for enthusiastic, customer-focused, and experienced Waitstaff / Bar Attendants (Barladies).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional and efficient bar service to customers. 
• Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established standards. 
• Receive customer orders and ensure timely service. 
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the bar and lounge area. 
• Restock beverages, glassware, and bar supplies as required. 
• Process customer payments accurately. 
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. 
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service standards. 
• Support colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day restaurant operations. 

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience working in a bar, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment. 
• Excellent customer service and communication skills. 
• Professional appearance and positive attitude. 
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment. 
• Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision. 
• Must be flexible to work 8 to 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays where required. 
• Applicants should reside within approximately one hour of Langata using public transport.
