The Kenya National Youth Summit (KNYS) organized by key partnership of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC), Ongoza, Strathmore Business School (SBS) and the Nation Media Group annually brings together youth from all 47 counties in Kenya. The summit seeks to
amplify youth voices to provide strategies that will contribute to peace before, during, and after the 2017 elections.
KNYS 2016 was an interactive convention, providing youth participants a platform to discuss county-specific challenges to employment, peaceful elections and security. The delegates proposed strategic recommendations for the public, private, and civil sectors to pursue in 2016 and 2017.
