    Business Information Services - Subject Matter Expert

    Short summary

    As our Business Information Services SME, your key role will be to:

    • Establish and develop our business information segment in the market.
    • Ensure access to relevant data sources in the market and their proper presence in our product and solution segments.
    • Customization of suite to serve needs of your market and customers.
    • Promote the segment and value of data driven decisions and information both internally and externally.
    • You will be at the heart of our business segment strategy, leveraging data and analytics to provide actionable insights that shape our decision-making process.
    • To achieve this, you will partner with various team members to understand the business needs and deliver insights that influence business strategy and performance. Your reporting line will be to the Partnerships Director with a dotted line to the Head of the local business.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Actively lead/contribute to building & running our business information segment in market.
    • Create all the necessary building blocks needed to build our propositions to provide high-value products and services to customers.
    • Share knowledge and training to internal team members, customers, and organisations, demonstrating key benefits/value of business information-based solutions and decisions in areas of credit risk, supply management and prospecting.
    • Support and increase knowledge transfer from Group organization/established markets to his/her market.
    • Shared ownership of achieving revenue and EBITDA targets with the local market head on your business segment.

    Person Specification:

    • Knowledge of business information (company information) segment, its key success components, products and value/business logic, and the ability to "connect dots".
    • Experience of sourcing data partners for business information.
    • Experience developing propositions to clearly explain the value of company information for a range of user cases.
    • Experience of leveraging internal teams to meet business objectives.
    • Consultative/solutions selling skills (company information/business information reports solutions preferrable)
    • Background within B2B segment.
    • Good communication and networking skills.
    • Fluent in English with the ability to lead meetings in the appropriate market/s.
    • Good network of partners and clients for business information or similar solutions preferrable.
    • Experience in operating in matrix environments, especially with shared targets.

    Business Development Manager - Business Information Services

    Key responsibilities:

    • Develop the prospect list of companies which can benefit from our products and services, actively approach prospects and sell products and services.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all business-related matters.
    • Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth, and identify new business opportunities.
    • Manage sales offers preparartions, contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions in collaboration with the sales team.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of products/services and exceptional customer experience.
    • Prepare and present reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights to internal stakeholders.
    • Carrying out other unforeseen tasks arising from the nature of the work of the key account manager.

    Person Specification:

    • Proven sales and account management skills in B2B segment, with a track record of successfully building portfolio of customers and achieving revenue targets.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and build long-term relationships.
    • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to navigate client relationships and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
    • Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Higher education, understanding of B2B financing and trade an advantage.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Fluency in English, and local market language.
    • Ability to travel to meet clients as needed.
