    Tour Consultants

    Key Responsibilities: -

    Client Consultation:

    • Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budget.
    • Provide expert advice and personalized tour packages.

    Itinerary Planning:

    • Create detailed travel itineraries, including accommodation, transportation, excursions, and other services, tailored to client needs.

    Bookings & Reservations:

    • Manage bookings for flights, accommodation, car rentals, tours, and activities through direct contact with suppliers and travel management systems.

    Product Knowledge:

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various destinations, tour packages, and travel trends, including Kenyan national parks, beach resorts, and international destinations.

    Customer Service:

    • Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after travel, addressing any issues or queries that may arise.

    Sales & Marketing:

    • Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by promoting special offers, packages, and services to clients and potential customers.

    Administration:

    Virtual Accounts Assistant

    The Virtual Accounts Assistant will be responsible for administrative support, data entry and management, bookkeeping, and financial management. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, creative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Administrative Support:

    • Organize, respond to, and filter emails to maintain an efficient inbox.
    • Input and manage data in spreadsheets, databases, or CRM systems.
    • Manage and organize digital files and folders for easy access and retrieval.

    • Conduct regular check-ins, including weekly team meetings via Zoom to discuss ongoing projects, share updates, and address challenges.
    • Use platforms like Slack or Microsoft Teams for real-time communication and quick collaboration.
    • Encourage regular email updates for project progress, questions, and feedback.

    Bookkeeping and Financial Management:

    • Utilize Restaurant 365 software to:
    • Merge two different points of sale to handle transactions, ensuring accurate payment processing and maintaining financial records.
    • Provide real-time financial reports to help managers track sales, expenses, and profitability.
    • Track inventory in real-time to help manage costs and minimize waste.
    • Create and track budgets against actual performance, aiding in financial planning.
    • Streamline the tracking of expenses, including vendor bills and invoices, to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
    • Approve and process invoices accurately.
    • Manage payroll systems, calculate wages, and ensure timely payments to employees.
    • Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
    • Collaborate with managers to create processes to lower food costs.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
    • At least 3 years of strong technical experience in accounting.
    • Fluent in three languages (English is required; Spanish is preferred).
    • At least 16 years of experience in writing, speaking, and reading English.
    • Trained in AI fundamentals.
    • Access to a computer, phone, and unlimited high-speed internet (at least 90 Mbps).

    Senior Sales Engineer

    The Senior Sales Representative plays a key role in achieving the organization’s objectives by driving customer growth through our client’s solutions. This role requires a strong ability to identify opportunities for new machine sales and Lifecycle Service (LCS) or after-sales support, aligning customer needs with the right solutions. Regular site and customer visits, close collaboration with internal departments, and effective communication with both customers and team members are essential for securing orders and ensuring success in this position.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with all customers, providing effective solutions tailored to their needs using the company’s portfolio.
    • Promote the sale of New Machine and Lifecycle Service (LCS) solutions, including spare parts, change parts/retrofits, overhauls, Service Level Agreements, operating supplies, and training solutions.
    • Build and nurture strong customer relationships with key and potential market players.
    • Capture opportunities for New Machine and LCS solutions in the Salesforce CRM, coordinate quote preparation, present proposals to customers, and negotiate contracts on behalf of the company.
    • Collaborate closely with New Machine and LCS Sales and technical teams in Nairobi, the Middle East, Africa, and the company’s headquarters to gather necessary information and support.
    • Keep customers updated on the status of their orders, ensuring deadlines are met.
    • Develop a robust network with key stakeholders within the company’s headquarters.
    • Lead communication between the company and operational departments in East Africa, facilitating resource scheduling and addressing issues related to warranties, replacements, and additional parts.
    • Manage logistics, administration, and financial transactions for clients.
    • Ensure all orders are fulfilled according to customer agreements.
    • Participate in special projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders as required.
    • Take responsibility for receivable collections from customers.
    • Regularly visit customer locations, present solutions, and attend relevant project meetings.
    • Expand the market for New Machine and LCS solutions by identifying and engaging with new customers.
    • Provide mentorship to sales representatives.

    Qualification, Experience, Behaviours & Skills

    • University degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Process Engineering or Business Administration with a solid technical understanding.
    • At least 5 years as a Sales Engineer or in a Technical Sales role or similar field/position.
    • Customer relationship and stakeholder management.
    • Sales effectiveness and understanding.
    • Basic understanding of bottling plants and our range of solutions.
    • General project management abilities.
    • Good business administration and financial understanding.
    • Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
