    Clerical Officer

    Duties

    • Filing documents in the relevant files
    • Retrieving documents as may be required from time to time
    • Safe custody of subject files
    • Tracing of subject files
    • Photocopying documents
    • Subject files movements
    • Recording, receiving and dispatching of correspondences

    Reporting to HR& Administration Manager

    Will be responsible for securing and safeguarding corporation’s assets and resources in the region.

    Duties for the Security Job

    • Carrying out security risk assessments and making recommendations to management.
    • Coordinating investigations on all criminal acts or any losses incurred by the organization and taking necessary action.
    • Overseeing the implementation of security measures and regulations by employees.
    • Safeguarding security of assets against theft, damage, misuse or sabotage.
    • Liaising with law enforcement agencies to ensure effective execution of security services
    • Supervising contracted security personnel to ensure value for money.
    • Undertaking security intelligence surveys and recommending necessary interventions.
    • Undertaking investigations of motor accidents involving the Board’s motor vehicles and taking the necessary actions.

    Job Requirements

    • Those who have previously worked and honorably discharged from Kenya Police (Regular) will have an added advantage.
    • Must have a Clearance from the Criminal Investigations Department (Certificate of Good Conduct).
    • Must have trained in any of the following: Kenya Defense Forces, National Police Service, National Youth Service Training and Protective Security Industry Training.
    • Have at least Five (5) years’ post training working Experience.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills
    • Computer literate

    Driver

    JG 7 (1Post)

     

    Duties

    • Driving a vehicle as authorized;
    • carrying out checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, electrical and brake systems, tyre pressure etc;
    • Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicle systems;
    • Maintenance of work tickets for vehicles assigned;
    • Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road;
    • Overseeing safety of the passengers and/or goods therein;
    • Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle.

    Job Requirements

    • A valid driving license free from any current endorsement(s) for class (es) of vehicles an officer is required to drive.
    • Passed Occupational Trade Test II for Drivers.
    • Defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
    • Attended a First Aid Course lasting not less than one week as St John Ambulance or Kenya
    • Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized Institution.

    • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in law from a recognized university.
    • Undertaken a Post Graduate Diploma in law from Kenya School of Law.

    • Taking reading of the ventricular meter (commander) levels and communicating the same to Officer In-charge.

    • Making daily and weekly reports and occurrences as registered in the occurrence Book.
