    Product Manager-API Management

    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Product Manager-API Management to lead the strategic development and management of our API ecosystem. As the API Management Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the API product roadmap, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of API solutions that enhance our digital banking capabilities. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of banking processes, API technologies, and a proven track record in product management.

    Responsibilities:

    •  Develop and execute a comprehensive API product strategy aligned with the bank's digital transformation goals.
    •  Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform API product roadmap.
    • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for API products, from ideation to launch and ongoing enhancements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business stakeholders, to ensure successful product delivery.
    • Define and implement strategies for API monetization, pricing models, and revenue generation opportunities.
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies related to API management in the banking sector.

    • Work closely with technical teams to understand API architecture, security measures, and integration requirements.

    • Conduct training sessions for internal teams and external partners on API usage and best practices.

    Qualifications

    •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Proven experience (X years) in API design, development, and management.
    • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other web services protocols.
    •  Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
    •  Hands-on experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft, Kong).
    •  In-depth knowledge of API security principles and best practices.
    •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
    • Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    •  Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies (e.g., Spring Boot etc).

    • Proven experience as an Agile Coach, Lean Portfolio Manager, Conducting Certified Training of SAFe® and Implementation of SAFe® Agile transformation within a product-focused organization.
    • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban.
    • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Asana, Smartsheet, Trello.

    Finance Business Investments Analysis Manager

    Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Finance Business Investment Analysis manager will be responsible for supporting the Group Projects and Procurement committee and Group Product house in evaluating potential investments in long-term assets, Platforms, Systems, Projects and Business products and to determine their financial alignment to the Group strategy, viability and expected return for a business.

    • Review and consolidation of group capital expenditure and product development project budgets including ensuring these are included on the Group’s ERP systems and spend is tracked against the approved budgets
    • Ensure appropriate performance measurement metrics are defined at the onset of investment or product projects, establish mechanisms to track post implementation performance and evaluate & report on post implementation performance.
    • Commercial review of pricing and cost elements of vendor contracts to ensure value for money for Equity Group, with reference to overall price of contracts, scalability of service, foreign currency considerations, escalations and tenor.
    • Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, product investments proposals, depreciation, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc.
    • Support other departments in preparation of business case models that coherently and succinctly communicate financial viability and business opportunity arising from different investment decisions.
    • Drive development of long-term investment projections in line with the overall business projections and strategy of the Group, in order to align with availability of capital and shareholder & corporate return expectation.
    • Develop models that connect organic capital growth and capital raising initiatives with capital use for business growth, meeting ordinary business obligations and capital available for investments

    Qualifications:

    • A degree in Finance, commerce or other relevant business discipline 
    • Highly developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • At least 5-8 years relevant commercial and/ or management reporting experience, including exposure to senior executives and directors
    • Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations. CPA/ ACCA qualification or equivalent required.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Experience in capex budgeting, business case review and review of vendor contract pricing.

    Description

    The senior business architect will be responsible for execution of tasks that deliver critical business architecture artefacts. You will link the organization’s strategic intent and execution by designing, developing, maintaining or contributing to key deliverables like business capability maps, value streams models, operating and processes model analysis, business entities and organization mapping, systems mapping and system footprint analysis among others.

    Qualifications

    • At least 3 years of experience in business architecture or a related field, working in a large organization having actively participated in business architecture, digitization or business transformation initiatives.
