    Senior Relationship Manager – SME & Commercial (Various Locations)

    Job Description

    The Senior Relationship Manager – SME & Commercial will be responsible for leading the respective Region’s SME team to deliver Asset & Liabilities sales targets, as well as deliver the Region’s portfolio growth targets.       

    Principle Accountabilities

    1. Ensure growth of the branch asset & liability books and profitability by working with and directing the region SME sales teams on activations, portfolio management, strategy adoption, customer visits and sales activities in general
    2. Monitor and manage the non-performing loans
    3. Setting up the regional business development strategy in line with company strategy and preparation of relevant reports to monitor and review performance
    4. Ensure optimum team productivity and identify training needs of the team.
    5. Cross selling of HFC Bank’s products by establishing new relationships in order to grow both assets and liabilities book.
    6. Maintaining customer relations by regular contact to ensure customer satisfaction business continuity
    7. To review accounting opening forms and loan applications by scrutinizing the documents to ensure they are KYC Compliant.
    8. To analyze loan applications by interviewing the customers
    9. To identify customers’ borrowing needs by interviewing so as to ensure selling of the right products.

    Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

    Business Development Manager – Mortgage Business

    Job Description

    The Business Development Manager – Mortgage Business will be responsible for the pro-active acquisition and activation of mortgage loan business for the Bank.

    Principle Accountabilities

    1. Sales emphasis will be mainly on individual customers with needs on their residential and commercial mortgage loans. Successful candidates will also be required to provide wider range of retail and priority products such as unsecured cards and Insurance to targeted mortgage segments.
    2. Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients
    3. New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions
    4. Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities
    5. Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients
    6. Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets
    7. Engaging clients for their mortgage requests from internal stakeholders such as marketing campaigns, inbounds mortgage enquiries and also branch walk-in.
    8. End to end implementation of mortgage sales process from case processing right up to acceptance of loan offer.
    9. Able to perform off-office hours and weekend activities when required (Networking events, campaigns and road shows)
    10. Keep abreast of market trends and competitor offerings, and conduct regular market updates and follow-up activities for target customer groups, to better enhance the product differentiation in relation to external competition.

    Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

    1. Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
    2. Prior experience in a similar role and a strong track record of success in mortgage sales.
    3. 5+ years of sales experience in Retail banking sales and real estate sales

    Head Of Trade Finance

    Job Description

    The Head of Trade Finance will be responsible for driving the growth of the Bank’s Trade finance business through effective leadership of a team of product specialists, an innovative best in class product suite with excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with all internal controls. The position drives trade business growth and relationship management in collaboration with industry sectors and other product houses to existing, new and prospective customers and clients.

    Principle Accountabilities

    1. Develop and implement Structured Trade and Commodity Finance business strategy for HFC Group
    2. Drive the growth and development of HFC’s trade finance business across the bank, and in consultation with subsidiary teams across the Group’s banking entities
    3. Deliver an innovative trade finance product and service suite to meet customer requirements and achieve business objectives
    4. Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue base and increase non-funded income generated through Structured Trade and Commodity Finance
    5. Lead a team of trade finance product specialists in origination, maintenance, and development of customer relationships in a sustainable manner
    6. Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to promote efficient service delivery to HFC Bank clients
    7. Lead, motivate, and continuously develop a credible high performing Trade Finance team
    8. Manage and maintain robust monitoring, controls, business continuity, governance and risk management environment for Trade department and overall Retail Banking Division

    Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

    1. A University Degree preferably in Business related field from an institution recognised by CUE.
    2. Post-graduate and/or Banking qualifications will be an added advantage.
    3. 8 years’ experience in structured trade finance and product management with at least over 5 years in international trade and correspondent banking
    4. 5 years’ experience in leading teams preferably at senior management level
    5. Track record of attaining targets of business growth and profitability in structured trade finance within the banking sector
    6. Have an appreciation and operating knowledge of the banking industry, regulation, market, trends as well as opportunities and challenges.
    7. Demonstrable innovation orientation to ensure that the Bank remains on the cutting edge in provision of Trade finance solutions
    8. Sound understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements relating to Trade finance business segment
