    Client Analyst, China Desk, Client Coverage

    Job Description

    To provide portfolio management support, research and analyze relevant client and sector information enabling understanding of the client business to support strategy and business origination objectives. Mainly focus on Energy & Infrastructure sector and Chinese portfolio.

    Qualifications

    • Type of Qualification: First Degree
    • Field of Study: Business Commerce or any other related field
    • Fluent Mandarin speaking is a requirement

    Experience Required

    • 3-4 years
    • Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Corporate Investment Banking  Client Coverage capability and operating environment.

    Job Description

    To assist the Workplace Banking and Personal Banking team with the origination of credit proposals within acceptable turnaround times. Overriding objective is to grow the Bank’s lending book and maintain a high quality of lending assets through timely preparation of good quality credit applications.

    • Risk appropriate determination of risk grades incorporating structures, cash flows, covenants etc

    • Identification and assessment of all pertinent risk areas together with mitigating factors
    • Understanding of underlying price sensitivities and applicable work-out-scenarios in the event of default

    Job Description

    To work with the head of workplace banking in fulfilling the set annual target as outlined in business plan. Signing up of scheme companies within the identified market opportunity especially within multi-national companies and government parastatals. Working with other corporate and commercial relationship managers to identify opportunities within their portfolios. Proactively growing/penetrating the existing workplace banking market. Develop key relationships with decision makers and key opinion leaderships within the scheme portfolio. Product presentation to sign up companies during on site activation in order to increase sales.     Value Proposition Manager

    Job Description

    This role sets up, implements, drives, and continuously improves portfolio management & optimisation, business intelligence, reporting, actionable intel, quantitative research & insights, and data management for Personal Banking. It provides direction to Personal Banking on portfolio profitability principles & practices, client pricing, and client commercialisation.

    To collaborate with Personal Bank teams in Country to define, analyse and optimize the segment value propositions for implementation across Kenya in order to deliver on Personal Banking financial and non-financial objectives. To facilitate integration of the segment value propositions and client experience requirements.

    Experience Required

    • 8-10 years
    • Experience in the development and enablement of CVPs. In depth understanding of behavioural economics and its practical application.

    • Experience in financial services sector.
