    Customer Sales Advisor

    Our client, a leading Manufacturing Company, is seeking a Customer Sales Advisor is to retain and selectively grow transactional customers.

    This will be achieved through providing responsive support for all inbound sales enquiries and proactively executing outbound sales campaigns

    Primary Purpose of Role:

    • Handle Inbound Customer’s sales enquiries for all customer personas, routing the enquiries to the appropriate sales channel e.g., field sales, internal sales

    Success means:

    • Timely answer specific customer’s queries verbally or in writing – related to either price, availability, lead time, etc, qualifying the customer need prior quoting and only quoting once the requirement is known. Identify what the customer’s pain is
    • Qualify and quantify the opportunities
    • Provide effective redirection of customer’s queries to other members of the Sales team
    • Ethically achieve Sales Growth Targets and Retention.

    Success means:

    • Achieve, or exceed, Sales Targets
    • Reduce customer churn through routine and regular customer contact, ensuring each transactional customer is contacted at least once a year
    • Pro-actively follow up all opportunities (
    • Execute outbound sales campaigns, managing each lead and opportunity
    • through CRM e.g., replacement valves, filters, repair kits etc.
    • Reactivate dormant customers
    • Execute MRO-type upselling and cross-selling

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify and develop opportunities for customer retention and upselling
    • In conjunction with Sales Team, develop and deliver Call Plans to ensure all Quotations
    • Manage Inbound calls and queries from customers (Sell)
    • Collaborate and support Key Account Managers, Field-based Sales Engineers, Internal Sales Engineers, and Internal Sales Support to manage inbound technical and commercial enquiries
    • Identify and develop opportunities for upselling
    • Qualify all opportunities prior to quoting to ensure the stated needs and products sought are fit for purpose and that timing of order placement is imminent and to avoid providing “check-quotes”.
    • Collaborate and support Field-based and Internal Sales Engineers to manage technical/commercially complex opportunities (such as Customer Value Propositions like Expand and Refurbish, Sustainability and Energy Saving & Process Productivity)
    • Maximize MRO selling (Cross sell and upsell) for all transactional type customers.
    • Execute defined outbound Sales Campaigns
    • Appropriately engage other direct sales & non-direct sales channels to maximize both customer value and sales

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a technical or commercial role within manufacturing Industries
    • Diploma Or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
    • Ability to present themselves in a confident and professional manner & IT literate.
    • Experience using a CRM and Power BI (Desirable)
    • Target and goal driven, demonstrates drive to ‘get things done’
    • Demonstrates empathy and listening skills

    • This role is critical in\ overseeing the successful implementation of energy and sustainability projects, including our proprietary software, with new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset to deliver high-impact energy solutions.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with clients to identify and achieve their Keys to Success for each project.
    • Manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
    • Apply M&V methodologies to manage project phases from initiation to closeout.
    • Take full ownership of project outcomes, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
    • Influence and coordinate both internal teams and client stakeholders to achieve project goals.
    • Conduct regular project status meetings, delivering updates on progress, challenges, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Configure software solutions and energy tools as per client-specific requirements.
    • Work closely with technical teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
    • Identify and mitigate risks proactively, ensuring successful project completion.
    • Provide hands-on training for clients through onsite and online sessions to maximise software adoption.
    • Maintain strong communication with project teams, both locally and remotely.
    • Ensure a seamless handover to the Customer Success Team at the conclusion of each project.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (required).
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, including formulas for data analysis (required).
    • 2-4 years of project management experience, preferably in enterprise software implementations or energy-related projects (required).
    • Strong familiarity with energy management systems, sustainability software, or utility bill management tools.
    • PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve project challenges effectively.
    • Core Statistical skills experience – Regression Analysis, Time-Series Analysis, Data Normalisation, Variance Analysis, Outlier Detection and Data Visualisation.

    Quantity Surveyor (Construction)

    • Our client, one of the largest local contractors in Kenya known for delivering complex civil engineering projects, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and administration of tender and contract documents, cost estimation, and project management in large-scale construction environments. This role requires in-depth knowledge of contract administration, design, construction regulations, and industry-standard procedures. Proficiency in software applications like AutoCAD or ArchiCAD is essential. The ideal candidate Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor in the construction sector, objective, and able to work under pressure. The successful candidate must have BORAQS and IQSK registration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare, review, and administer tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, to align with JBC and FIDIC standards.
    • Conduct cost estimation, planning, and analysis for tender processes, offering strategic insights on cost-saving initiatives.
    • Oversee the evaluation of pricing for tenders, including preparation and analysis of costs, and provide advisory on contractual claims.
    • Develop clear and concise reports on current project activities, and monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
    • Implement and enforce compliance with QSHE procedures, ensuring project adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards.
    • Coordinate resource allocation, schedule project phases, and facilitate efficient program management across multiple construction projects.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of construction regulations, industry standards, and contract laws, with application of best practices in contract administration.
    • Advise on and evaluate project design modifications, assess feasibility of design and build options, and ensure high-quality delivery across all project stages.
    • Provide guidance on material selection, resource planning, and scheduling to optimize project timelines and budgets.

    Qualifications:

    • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
    • Must have at least 5 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor in the construction sector.
    • Must have BORAQS and IQSK registration.
    • Mush have experience in Project Management with demonstrated leadership and ability to handle complex tasks and high-pressure situations.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or ArchiCAD.
    • Strong understanding of construction regulations and contract laws.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of standard specifications, cost control, and budget management.
    • Flexibility to travel and work in diverse environments and adaptable to culturally diverse environments.

    • Strong culinary skills with expertise in multiple culinary techniques
    • Ability to design menus that reflect seasonality, guest preferences, and culinary trends.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
    • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
    • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
    • A genuine passion for the culinary arts and a drive to create exceptional dining experiences.
    • Keeping abreast of emerging culinary trends, diets (e.g., vegan, gluten-free), and consumer preferences.
