    Generator Sales Manager

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Sell diesel generator sets (Standby, Prime & Continuous ratings) across Kenya.
    • Develop new business opportunities in sectors such as hotels, hospitals, construction, manufacturing, telecom, and real estate.
    • Manage key accounts and build long-term customer relationships.
    • Prepare and follow up on technical-commercial proposals and tenders.
    • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
    • Develop and manage dealer / channel partner networks.
    • Coordinate with service and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
    • 5+ years’ experience in generator sales or power solutions in Kenya.
    • Strong technical knowledge of diesel generators, ATS, and synchronization systems.
    • Proven track record in B2B sales and project-based selling.
    • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Kenya.
    • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Results-driven with strong market knowledge.

    Generator Sales Engineer- Mombasa

    JOB PURPOSE:

    To drive business growth and achieve sales targets by analyzing market potential, generating and converting enquiries into sales, managing tenders and order finalizations, fostering strong relationships with contractors and customers, providing market insights to management, and ensuring timely payments and effective debt collection.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Analyze market trends and forecast sales volumes based on market potential.
    • Drive business growth by achieving set sales targets.
    • Generate enquiries, proactively pursue leads, and convert them into confirmed sales.
    • Prepare tenders and manage the finalization of orders in line with company procedures.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors and customers by understanding and addressing their needs.
    • Gather, analyze, and share market intelligence, including competitor activities and opportunities for business promotion, with management.
    • Oversee timely payments and manage debt collection.

    • Well-presented and articulate.
    • Ability to take the initiative.
    • Good persuasive and interpersonal skills.
    • Have high energy, demonstrated ability to deliver results and meet strict deadlines.
