    Senior Lecturer - Pharmacy - 5 Posts

    Duties and responsibilities at this level include: -Teaching and evaluating relevant subjects in their discipline areas;Preparing schemes of work, lesson notes and lesson plans; Assessing students in clinical areas; Guiding and counselling students on matters related to their academics; Inducting new trainers and trainee lecturers; Implementing competence-based curriculum; Conducting research in the area of specialisation and supervising students on research projects; Developing at least three (3) teaching manuals; Developing and reviewing policies, standards, systems and processes relevant to curricula (when deployed as Curriculum Officer); Mentoring and coaching staff on curriculum development; and Conducting basic, applied and action research to address knowledge gaps related to curriculum development.

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognised institution;
    • Valid practicing licence from the relevant regulatory body where applicable;

    Duties at this level will include: participating in teaching and evaluating relevant subjects within their discipline areas; assessing students in clinical settings; organizing extracurricular activities at the College; assisting Senior Lecturers with research and the development of teaching materials; planning, designing, and developing relevant teaching materials; identifying prevalent health problems in the country and conducting surveys; and supervising students in clinical settings.

    • Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science / Bachelor of Clinical Medicine

    Assistant Director, Information Communication Technology

    Duties and responsibilities at this level will include deputizing the Director ICT in the coordination and oversight of ICT functions; providing strategic and technical leadership in ICT service delivery; managing relationships with internal and external ICT stakeholders; coordinating ICT projects, infrastructure and systems; supervising and mentoring ICT staff; and ensuring compliance with ICT standards, policies and regulatory requirements; overseeing the development of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for the College; overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of critical business process applications; coordinating the acquisition, development, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure; participating in the development of a succession plan for ICT positions; ensuring the optimal utilization and leverage of available ICT resources across the College; ensuring adherence to and compliance with ICT standards and other regulatory requirements; undertaking periodic reviews of ICT system projects and procedures; reviewing and evaluating feasibility studies and detailed specifications; initiating staff training and deployment within the Division; participating in the development of ICT policies, standards, guidelines, and strategies; maintaining and supporting ICT systems; configuring and maintaining local area networks and wide area networks; updating and maintaining the ICT equipment inventory; preparing ICT technical specifications, user manuals, and documentation; designing, scheduling, and managing training for users; preparing performance appraisal reports for ICT staff; training ICT staff and ensuring proper skill acquisition and performance of duties; and providing input to the development of the annual ICT budget.

    For appointment to this level, a candidate must have: - 

    • Cumulative service period of twelve (12) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) years of which should have been in the grade of Principal ICT Officer or in a comparable position; 
    • Bachelor of Science degree in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Computer Technology, Informatics, Computer Science & Technology, Information Systems, Informatics and Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Security and Forensics, Business Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Institution; 
    • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Communication Technology or in any other ICT related discipline from a recognised institution; 
    •  ICT Certification from a reputable institution in any of the following:- Database Management (Oracle, SQL, DB2 or its equivalent), Information Security (CISSP, Security+, CISA, CISM or its equivalent), Service Support Operations (ITIL, COBIT or its equivalent), Network Administration (CCNA, HCNA, N+, HP or its equivalent), System Administration (MCSE, Linux, Unix or its equivalent), or Software Development (Java, Visual Studio, Python, Oracle, or its equivalent); 
    • Certificate in Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognised institution; 
    •  A valid practising licence; 
    • Membership to the relevant a professional body ; and 
    •  Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    Accountant [2] / Finance [2] - 5 Posts

    An officer at this level will be responsible for implementing financial regulations, policies, strategies, and plans; implementing budgetary and cost controls; maintaining books of account and financial records; implementing internal financial controls; preparing financial reports and statements and submitting them to relevant institutions; maintaining an accurate and complete financial record of the college; preparing payment vouchers; participating in the collation of financial estimates and the determination of aggregate expenditure; maintaining records relating to government grants and other donor funds; preparing management and statutory reports, including final accounts; maintaining records of statutory deductions and remittances; managing the petty cash; and participating in revenue collection processes.

    For appointment to this level, a candidate must have: -

    • Part II of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; and 
    •  Proficiency in computer application.

    Human Resource Management Officer [2] - 5 Posts
