    Mentoring Field Coordinators

    Description

    In line with enhancing career progression of staff and to support business growth, we seek to recruit qualified, experienced, self-driven, highly motivated, and passionate candidates to fill the above position within the Equity Group Foundation.

    The Field Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, consolidating, and ensuring smooth implementation of Elimu program and its operations within a defined region. Your experience in dealing with learners together with your knowledge on youth and teens will be of optimal value in driving the program closer to its goals.

    • Coordinate Elimu program school mentorship activities in the region.
    • Monitor Elimu scholar’s performance progress.
    • Work closely with schools, parents and CSAC members to identify and address psychosocial needs among Elimu scholars Coordinate stakeholders’ participatory forums at the regional level. Promote Elimu program and ensure alignment to the existing policy framework of Equity, Government, and other stakeholders. Facilitate and maintain smooth partnerships between MOE, Parents, schools, and Equity.
    • Coordinate training of CSAC, BGDM and other staff handling the selection process in the region
    • Play a liaison role with the Elimu program stake holders including teachers in partner schools and the CSACs, Education offices especially at County and sub county in the region to ensure a more coordinated working relationship
    • Prepare Elimu program quarterly reports for the region
    • Support coordination of Elimu selection processes in the region

    Target regions

    1. Upper Western region: Vihiga and Siaya county
    2. Lower Western region: Busia and Bungoma county
    3. Upper Nyanza region: Narok, Bomet, Kisii, Nyamira counties
    4. Upper Northern region: Wajir, Garissa, Mandera counties

    Qualifications

    • At least a University degree in Education, social work, project management or any other relevant field.
    • A Masters degree in a related field is an added advantage Excellent command of office software, such as word processors, spreadsheets, databases, and other relevant computer applications.
    • At least 3 years’ experience working in education sector, with youth, social welfare, or any other related programs.
    • Acquainted with Kenyan education development and trends.

    Executive Assistant

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial:

    • Budget Compliance : Ensure that all event bookings, travel and accommodate have prior approvals and are in compliance to policy
    • Utilities & stationery management to optimize- coordinate to ensure proper and efficient utilization of office utilities,stationery within approved budget
    • Proper documentation, document filing and retrievals as per agreed standards. NIL incidences of delays in retrieval or loss of documents
    • Timely and accurate handling of all incoming and out going correspondences- log & action ( NIL lapses of unattended correspondences)

    Operations - Executive Administration

    • Diary management- Ensure NIL lapses in diary management to ensure smooth management of appointments and meetings.
    • Meetings & Appointments - Ensure all follow up meetings are scheduled on time. Liaise with branches and all departments on meeting & Appointments requests and close them on time.
    • Office Management  and Maintenance - Ensure Cleanliness of office on daily basis. Provide top notch office organisation ensuring everything is in order. NIL incidences of  lapses

    Customer Focus - 

    • Vendor management :- Facilitate timely renewal of contracts, licence, payments within agreed TAT
    • Departments, Branches, Staff and Subsidiaries support - Closure of all customer Relationship support requests and other issues raised.
    • External Clients and partner management. Timely resolution and communication of issues and requests as per agreed standards.

    Risk, Compliance, Audit

    • Confidentiality & professionalism- Nil incidences of breach of confidentiality and unprofessionalism
    • Attain satisfactory Audit /Compliance Ratings
    • Closure of all audit, compliance issues within agreed timelines- follow up for closure and update of trackers

    Qualifications

    The incumbent shall be in possession of the following qualifications and attributes:

    • Bachelors Degree is preferred
    • Diploma in Secretarial Studies/Diploma in Law will be an added advantage
    • Diploma in Management/Leadership/Communication will be an added advantage
    • At least 5-year experience as a PA or Secretary in an administrative role in a senior or executive management role
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
    • Excellent word processing and IT skills, including knowledge and proficiency to at least intermediate levels in a
    • range of office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Honesty and reliability
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Accuracy
    • The ability to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines
    • Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks needing to be undertaken simultaneously

    Regional Sales Manager

    Job Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

    Sales and Distribution

    • Participate in the development of sales strategies and action plans, and lead their implementations in assigned geography
    • Support various Equity bank employees to meet / exceed their sales & distribution targets  within the assigned geography
    • Be 100% conversant about the achievement of team, branch and therefore overall regional targets at all times. 
    • Locate and propose potentials business deals by visiting, contacting existing and potential bank customers to cross sell and up sell.
    • Represent and promotes the Equity Bank and Finserve’s image in the community by developing and maintaining business relationships with current and potential clients, and various influencers and supporters of the brand.
    • Represent and promote Equity Bank and Finserve product offerings & services at industry related trade shows and events, including presentations
    • Detect complex problematic situations and, upon escalation, intervene to implement any required corrective measures.

    Team work

    • Maximize team productivity and ensure they operate within the set policies and procedures
    • Run regular regional Equitel team and other team meetings, identifying and sharing best practice.
    • Train the regional Equitel team and other partners of the bank
    • Develop and maintain strong relationship with staff within the branches and head-office, business leaders at branch level as well as the Regional management
    • Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries in a prompt manner

    Undestand the customer, the market and industry

    • Support and ensure delivery of best-in-class customer service to new and existing customers within the assigned geography
    • Gather & distil customer and market insights, monitor market trends and feedback to management in a timely manner, to help optimize the effectiveness of the Finserve Sales & Distribution strategy and Execution plans
    • Submit comprehensive, accurate and timely reports
