Our client, in the Automotive Industry seeks to recruit an Accountant who will assist in day-to-day finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing periodical financial reports, including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet on a monthly and annual basis
• Preparing weekly cash flow statement reports and controlling expenditure and cash flow
• Developing financial statements for account reconciliations, account receivables, account payables, revenue expenditure, etc
• Perform month-end closing activities such as account reconciliation, revenue accounting, expense accounting, etc.
• Ensure financial records comply with company policies and accounting principles
• Analyzing data and examining financial records to ensure accuracy and no material errors
• Identify accounting errors or discrepancies and suggest necessary corrective action
• Oversee account receivables and payables activities
• Playing a key role in the preparation of yearend accounts and statutory accounts
• Support business profitability and growth through identifying insights from financial data and making recommendations on the same
• Preparation of management accounts
• Lead the preparation of the annual budget, forecast, and projections.
• Effectively manage working capital and cash flows to drive a healthy liquidity position for the business
• Carrying out tax reporting, preparing and submitting tax returns on a timely basis
• Assist in preparing the necessary documentation for annual financial audits and act as key liaison with the external auditor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA / K; or ACCA)
• At least 3-5 years experience
• Proficient in accounting systems
• Prior expertise in price negotiations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to anticipate risks
• High Integrity

Our client, in the automotive sector seeks to recruit a Driver; who will be responsible for driving authorised personnel and delivery and collection services. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Drives office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel
• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, check oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres etc., performs minor repairs and arranges for other repairs to ensure that the vehicle is kept clean
• Keep track of timely car insurance renewals 
• Update monthly mileage records
• Logs all trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, greasing etc; 
• Ensures that in the event of an accident, rules/policies and traffic regulations are followed; 
• Carry out banking/financial and other office out-door messengerial duties; 
• Packs material received for dispatch, affixes labels, inserts material in envelopes and franks outgoing mail;

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of ‘O’ level pass.
• A valid driving licence 
• At least 3 years proven experience as a Driver in a reputable organization 
• Mechanical knowledge of Motor Vehicles with basic knowledge in vehicle service and maintenance.
• Have basic knowledge in defensive driving;

 Skills and Competencies 

• Cautious with defensive driving skills.
• Presentable with excellent interpersonal skills;
• Must be a person with initiative and high moral integrity.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a point of contact between customers and companies
• Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers
• Gathering market and customer information to figure out the customer needs
• Responding to customer queries and resolving their objections to get them to make a purchase
• Advising product developers on improvements to include in forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
• Creating proposal documents as part of the formal bidding procedure
• Inspecting inventory in stock and the quality of the product on display
• Providing customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations

Requirements
