REPORTS DIRECT TO: Sales and Distribution Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and target potential clients interested in the "Bar on Wheels"
• Develop and execute lead generation strategies to build a robust pipeline of potential clients.
• Create awareness in the coverage area/universe for potential customers.
• Conduct research to identify trends, potential markets, and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Promote The Bar on Wheels in our social media platforms and other digital platforms.
• Work closely with the Sales and fleet team to coordinate the logistics of the "Bar on Wheels" at events, ensuring a seamless experience for clients & Meet the daily, weekly and monthly targets.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client engagement, and market trends for senior management.
• Share daily, weekly, and monthly sales report with the Leadership team & Any other duty that may be assigned

JOB KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

• Degree/Diploma in a Business Administration or other related course
• KCSE mean grade of a minimum of C plain with 2-4 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns
• Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision & Self-organized individual with numeracy skills
• Proactive, flexible and resilient team player & High level of integrity and responsibility

• Our client, a Distribution company in the alcoholic Sector is looking to Recruit. The potential candidate will be able to deliver excellent customer service, have a strong knowledge of beverages, and have the ability to create a fun and engaging atmosphere for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to client requests and event needs.
• Mix and garnish cocktails following standard recipes or customer preferences
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at the bar station and provide exceptional service to all guests
• Handle customer complaints and issues promptly, escalating to the Supervisor if necessary
• Monitor bar inventory levels and notify the Supervisor of any shortages or stock needs
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after events
• Ensure all beverages and bar supplies are stored and transported safely and securely
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, using POS systems or cash registers and keep track of all transactions
• Adhere to all legal regulations and company policies regarding the serving of alcohol
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of both staff and guests
• Any other duty that may be assigned

JOB KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

• Diploma/Certificate in a Business-related course; KCSE mean grade of C plain with a D+ in Mathematics and D+ plain in English
• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work under minimum supervision and High level of integrity and responsibility
• Excellent records maintenance and reporting skills & Self-organized individual with cash handling and numeracy skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (e.g., kegs, boxes of supplies) as required

• Diploma or Certificate in Sales and Marketing, or an equivalent qualification in a related field.
• K.C.S.E mean grade D+and above with a D (plus) in Mathematics and English, Basic computer skills-use of MS office.
• At least 2 years Relevant sales experience in FMCG industry
• Must be a holder of a valid driving license class C and Motorcycle riding license A
• Self-disciplined individual with an up-to-date Certificate of good conduct
• Self-organized individual with numeracy skills, Proactive, flexible and resilient team player
• High level of integrity and responsibility
