    Key Accounts Representative

    This role reports to the National Sales Manager and is responsible for ensuring that company Products are consistently available in key accounts branches while ensuring optimal customer relationship.

     Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implement the set strategies to ensure that all targets are realized within the assigned portfolio.
    • Ensure new products are listed and codes circulated to all branches
    • Ensure regular placement of orders by individual shops.
    • Negotiations for promotions and extra displays that translate to increase of sales
    • Tracking of stock movement and shelf off take for all products by use of stock levels cards.
    • Use of sales analysis to set optimal shop quantities to avoid shop over stocks.
    • Regular merchandisers training to ensure they are up to date with company products and set standards.
    • Constant visits to the outlets to negotiate for more products space and supervision of merchandisers
    • Overseeing implementation of various promotions, discounts etc within the allocated portfolio
    • Constant review meetings with the outlet managers to analyse performance trends and ways of improving them.
    • Address all issues raised by the outlet managers.
    • Monitoring and reporting on various competitor activities and emerging market needs that could impact performance in key accounts.
    • Any other allocated tasks.

    The Person

    • First Degree in sale and marketing
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a FMCG especially in key accounts role
    • Computer proficiency courses and analytical skills.
    • In depth understanding of customer relationship management
    • Excellent selling and communication skills
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Display of professionalism, courtesy and maturity
    • In depth understanding of business processes and principles
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Coordinating and organising capabilities

    National Sales Manager

    This role reports to the Sales Director and is based in Nairobi. This is a great opportunity for an established FMCG established sales professional who is passionate about driving exceptional business results; maintaining and strengthening commercial relationships and who cherishes monitoring and motivating teams to do their very best.

    The role-holder will lead the Kenya sales agenda by strengthening commercial relationships within general trade, modern trade and HORECA.

     Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop and direct implementation of business strategies and plans to achieve the agreed revenue objectives, profitability and volume goals for the country, consistent with overall sales strategy.
    • Lead and focus the country sales team and third-party agency teams towards instilling high performance culture.
    • Motivating and daily monitoring of the company and third party sales teams using SFA system to ensure they are focused on delivering the set business objectives.
    • Take leadership in ensuring timely, accurate and commercially viable sales decisions are made in consultation with all stakeholders.
    • Drive high levels of stakeholder’s engagement within the general trade, modern trade and HORECA channels.
    • Identifying and escalating to the management the opportunities and challenges the various shareholders are facing and lobbying for support.
    • Develop and implement annual calendar of trade interventions and ensure that Returns on Investment are realized.
    • In liaison with key stakeholders develop revenue forecasts and ensure they are realized.
    • Plan and ensure that the senior management teams meet on regular basis with the key customers and participate in various initiatives and partnerships
    • Lead the development and implementation of the Joint Business Plans.
    • Proactively identify new business opportunities and lead their onboarding to ensure they know the company’s expectations and that they are well supported.
    • Develop the competence and commitment of sales teams through effective training, guidance and support.
    • Keep abreast of the market, trade and competitor activities and implement appropriate strategies.

    The Person

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
    • 10 years’ managerial experience within sales function in FMCG with proven track record of high performance.
    • Tangible experience in General and Modern trade is a key requirement for the role.
    • Strong ability to manage country sales teams.
    • Demonstrates empathy, agility and resilience.
    • Possess good presentation and networking skills
    • Analytical and proven problem-solving skills.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Strategic thinker with a focus on driving business results.
