    Job Purpose Statement

    • This is a role within the Global Markets that is required to guide business in improving processes, products, services and software through data analysis and to co-ordinate all business functions in all Presence countries. This entails monitoring and implementation of internal controls in all countries present to manage and mitigate operational risks, provide oversight on Global Markets expenses in all countries and co-ordinate regulatory compliance.

    Investment Manager

    Job Purpose Statement

    • This is a technical and client facing role which will entail managing assigned investment portfolios and client relations for Institutional, private wealth and collective investment scheme portfolios in order to meet client requirements and grow the Assets under Management.
    • The role holder shall be a member of the Investment team and the investments committee and he/she shall be an advisor, under the guidance of the Senior Investment Manager and/or Chief Investment Officer to clients on all portfolios assigned to him/her. The incumbent will be responsible for structuring and implementation of client investment policy statements and ensuring terms of engagement are consistently adhered to.
    • The purpose of the position is to collaborate with the Senior Investment Manager to provide tactical investment support, risk management administrative and operational oversight, for the client portfolios under his/her docket.
    • Additionally, the holder shall work closely withthe investment analysts and investment dealers in execution of investment decisions for the assigned mandates.
    • The holder may also be a delegate of the CIO/Senior Investment manager to represent the firm at certain statutory meetings such as Annual General Meetings and industry bodies such as the Fund Manager’s Association.

    Job Specifications
    Academic & Professional:

    • University degree in an analytical or business or finance courses
    • Associate Membership of ICIFA and CISI progress qualification a requirement

    Desired work experience:

    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in related areas including
    • Investment Dealing or Portfolio Management, Investment analysis, treasury front office etc.
    • Working knowledge of an investment management system is an added advantage

    Senior Manager – Employee Relations & Wellness

    Job Purpose Statement

    • Develop and maintain a conducive employee relations and wellness environment through providing the HR Business Partnering team and the organisation as a whole with guidance on labour laws and practices, staff welfare, discipline and grievances issue as well as involvement in maintaining positive relationships with the Union.
    • The role is responsible for developing and ensuring consistent application of employee relations policies and procedures as well as monitoring of staff motivation levels with a view of promoting employee satisfaction and engagement.

    Ideal Job Specifications
    Academic:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited university.

    Professional:

    • Higher Diploma in HR/ CHRP Certification (Completed) Member, IHRM

    Desired work experience:

    • At least 8 years’ experience in HR, 3 of which should have been in a management capacity in a similar sized organisation.
    • Proven track record of consistently supporting the achievement of an organisation’s people strategy,
    • with a market reputation of being a trusted advisor on matters pertaining to HR.
    • In-depth knowledge of the local banking industry, products, services and banking regulations.
    • Sound working knowledge and understanding of all labour regulations and practices.
