    Investment Banker

    Job Overview:

    • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Investment Banker specializing in dollar funds and offshore accounts to join our client, which is a Global Asset Management company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of global financial markets, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing client relationships. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and institutional clients to optimize their investment portfolios and navigate the complexities of international finance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
      • Identify and prospect potential clients, including high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and institutional investors.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
      • Provide personalized investment advice and develop tailored solutions to meet clients' specific needs and objectives.
      • Arrange events or Investor Forums
    • Product Knowledge and Expertise:
      • Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes impacting dollar funds and offshore accounts.
      • Develop a deep understanding of the various investment products, including mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds, and offshore banking services.
      • Educate clients on the benefits and risks associated with different investment strategies and products, helping them make informed decisions.
    • Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management:
      • Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessments to evaluate investment opportunities and construct diversified portfolios.
      • Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation, and market conditions, making strategic adjustments as needed to optimize returns and manage risk.
      • Provide regular updates and performance reports to clients, offering insights and recommendations to enhance portfolio performance.
    • Compliance and Regulatory Compliance:
      • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
      • Maintain accurate records and documentation for client transactions, adhering to internal policies and procedures.
      • Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry best practices, proactively implementing necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
    • 8 years of proven experience as an Investment Banker, Financial Advisor, or Wealth Manager, with a focus on dollar funds and offshore accounts.
    • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management principles.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct in-depth financial analysis and risk assessments.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
    • Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools, including Bloomberg, Reuters, and Microsoft Excel.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Requirements

    • Degree/Diploma in Human Resource or its Equivalent

    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.  
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion  
    • Ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts  
    • Ability to manage time, attend to details and prioritize activities and tasks
