    General Manager – Isuzu (Automotive), Management

    Job Role

    • The General Manager – Isuzu (Automotive) is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of the Isuzu automotive business. The role oversees sales, after-sales service, parts procurement, customer experience, financial performance, and business growth while ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and company policies.

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • Drive business growth and profitability of the Isuzu division.
    • Ensure excellence in vehicle sales, spare parts, and after-sales services.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with Isuzu manufacturers and key stakeholders.
    • Lead high-performing teams to achieve operational and financial targets.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Strategic Leadership

    • Develop and implement business strategies aligned with company objectives.
    • Identify market opportunities and drive expansion initiatives.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
    • Establish annual business plans and performance targets.

    Sales & Business Development

    • Drive vehicle sales and market share growth.
    • Oversee fleet sales and key account management.
    • Build strong relationships with corporate clients and government institutions.
    • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.

    Operations & After-Sales Management

    • Ensure efficient management of workshops, service centers, and spare parts operations.
    • Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
    • Ensure compliance with Isuzu operational and service standards.
    • Optimize operational processes for efficiency and profitability.

    Financial Management

    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
    • Monitor revenue, costs, and profitability.
    • Ensure effective inventory and procurement management.
    • Review and approve major expenditures.

    Team Leadership

    • Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers.
    • Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork.
    • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
    • MBA or Master's Degree is an added advantage.
    • Minimum 10–15 years' experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in senior management.
    • Strong understanding of Isuzu vehicles, spare parts, fleet management, and after-sales operations.
    • Proven track record in business growth and profitability management.
