    Hospital Deputy Matron

    Our Client is looking to hire a Hospital Deputy Maton who will be responsible for supporting Matron in the overall management and administration of the nursing department. This role involves overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and managing a team of dedicated nursing staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the matron in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department.
    • Ensure smooth coordination and execution of nursing activities and patient care services.
    • Supervise and provide leadership to nursing staff, including nurses in charge.
    • Oversee nurse in-charges to ensure they are effectively managing their respective units or shifts.
    • Perform regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for staff development.
    • Monitor adherence to healthcare regulations, institutional policies, and procedures.
    • Implement corrective actions for any compliance issues.
    • Monitor and improve patient care quality and safety.
    • Work closely with medical staff and administrative teams to optimize patient care and operational efficiency. 
    • Foster effective communication and teamwork among all departments to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
    • Manage and resolve patient and staff complaints promptly and effectively.
    • Implement strategies to prevent recurrence of issues and enhance satisfaction
    • Oversee the budget allocation and resource management for the nursing department.
    • Ensure cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high-quality patient care.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree/Master’s degree in Nursing.
    • 7 years experience in nursing and at least 2 years as a Hospital Deputy Matron 
    • Registration Certificate from the Nursing Council of Kenya
    • Valid Practicing License from the Nursing Council of Kenya
    • Valid certificate in BLS & ACLS
    • Proficiency in computer applications.
    • Significant experience in a clinical setting, with proven leadership and management skills.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and quality standards.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities.

    Junior Executive Assistant

    The Junior Executive Assistant will provide essential support to the CEO, acting as a key partner in managing the day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a vibrant personality, and a talent for organization and presentation. The Junior Executive Assistant will help prepare for high-level meetings, manage scheduling, and support lead generation activities, significantly impacting the CEO’s effectiveness and the company’s success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the CEO in preparing for meetings, including conducting research, developing presentations, and organizing agendas.
    • Attend meetings with the CEO, take comprehensive notes, and ensure all action points and follow-ups are accurately recorded and managed.
    • Manage the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
    • Generate and organize business development leads, helping prioritize and track potential opportunities.
    • Prepare and refine presentations, reports, and materials for various initiatives.
    • Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
    • Support administrative and operational tasks, including organizing files and maintaining records for easy access.

    Requirements

    • Key Qualities: Strong communication skills, presentation skills, and a bubbly, approachable personality.

    Skills & Experience:

    • Solid note-taking abilities, executive assistant skills, and lead-generation experience.
    • A driven and organized individual with a strong interest in business development and entrepreneurship.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM or project management tools is a plus.
    • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or support role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
    • Personal Traits: Highly organized, and proactive, keen eye for detail and a problem-solving attitude.
    • Educational Background: A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
