    Sales Team Leader – Microfinance

    Our Client is a medium sized microfinance institution mainly dealing with logbook loans. They are looking for a Sales Team Leader. The incumbent will be tasked with recruitment of clients, business development and relationship management.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify & screen potential clients through lead generation.
    • Promote and sell company products to potential clients
    • Evaluate client’s risk profile.
    • Meet monthly sales targets.
    • Advise clients on the required documentation and feedback on expectations
    • Recruit, train and run a high performing sales team.
    • Establish and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, staff and other partners.
    • Ensure client complaint resolution
    • Ensure excellent customer service
    • To assist in collection, the non-performing loans that the executive has recommended
    • Adhere to various company policies and procedures

    Qualifications

    • Degree in business administration or a related field.
    • Must be a person who has field experience (currently) in selling logbook loans
    • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as a part of a team
    • Experience and ability to build and lead teams of sales people.
    • Good communication and reporting skills.
    • Possess leadership and analytical skills.

    Operations Manager – Microfinance

    Gross Salary: 100k,

    Our Client is a medium sized microfinance institution mainly dealing with logbook loans. They are looking for an Operations Manager to ensure effective and efficient management of resources through implementing the right processes and practices across the organization. H/She will be responsible for people, operations, budgets, business development, projects delivery and strategy.

    Responsibilities

    • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant. Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
    • Perform quality controls and monitor business operations through KPIs & achievable targets.
    • Find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.
    • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.

    Qualifications

    • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role for at least 5 years.
    • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
    • Experience budgeting and forecasting
    • Familiarity with business and financial principles

    Chief Executive Officer – Microfinance Bank

    Our client is one of the leading Microfinance Banks in Kenya. They seek to recruit a Chief Executive Officer to be responsible for providing strategic leadership in the Bank by advising the Board of directors and working with the Management to establish long-term goals, strategies, plans, and policies to deliver shareholder value.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with the Board of Directors to establish an effective strategy to advance the Bank’s mission and goals.
    • Ensure that the Board of Directors is provided with timely reports and information in support of their fiduciary and corporate governance responsibilities.
    • Review Bank’s transactions to ensure that high value transactions are identified and appropriately reported to the regulator.
    • Work in close collaboration with the chair of the board, the chair of each board committee and the company secretary to bring decisions to be made by the board and board committees and other matters of importance to the board’s and board committees.
    • Work with the Bank’s management team to establish annual performance goals, allocate resources, assess performance, and ensure delivery of the overall bank performance.
    • Ensure that all the risks attached to the company’s activities, including investments, regulatory compliance, external communication, and institutional relations are regularly and properly evaluated, monitored and adequately secure
    • Maintain and manage effective relationships with customers, government, media, regulatory bodies, other banking industry leaders and with key external constituencies to ensure a positive image for the bank.
    • Provide leadership in performance management, employee development, talent management and building a work environment that drives high performance and employee satisfaction
    • To perform any other duty as assigned in line with the Organization’s goals and objective.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field.
    • Master’s degree in Management, Finance, Marketing, Banking, or a Business-related field.
    • Association of Kenya Instituted of Bankers (AKIB) Membership – Added Advantage
    • CPA (K) – Added Advantage.
    • 10 years’ experience in a similar role or in senior management in a bank with a diverse set of P&L experiences associated with the management of financial services products.
