Preferred Qualifications
SCOPE: To act as the executive and personal assistant of the Kenya Technology Sales Leader, covering all administrative duties and small projects in support of this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing administrative support for the SD
- Managing all correspondence i.e. telephone, travel arrangements, emails, meeting invites, scheduling meeting
- Communicating SD's instructions, decisions or intensions towards managers, peers, superiors, staff, liaising with internal and external Clients and Partners (directly or on behalf of SD)
- Planning, coordinating and ensuring the SD's schedule is followed and respected. Providing "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the SD's office
- Handling confidential issues
- Preparing meeting minutes, presentations
- Coordinating CSR activities of the company
- Managing private affairs of the SD
Support as Sales/ Business Analyst to the Sales organization:
- Ensure you are aware of Team’s tasks and deadlines
- Support the execution of tasks with the respect of given deadlines
- Agree with the Sales Managers and implement an optimal process and template for gathering data about a given task
- Monitor regular Team’s KPIs and report potential gaps immediately to the Sales Managers
OCCASIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organizing and coordinating external and internal meetings (board meetings, team meetings, marketing events, trainings including logistics, catering)
- Completing ad hoc projects as requested
- Ensuring the provision and maintenance of some Office equipment in the sales department
- Supporting the personal brand-building of the SD
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required, University degree is an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in multinational environment
- Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of Social Media web platforms is an advantage
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English

Job Description
- Work as member of the high professional, talented and successful Technology License Sales Team in Kenya.
- Develop infrastructure/Database/Middleware/BI/Big data License Sales opportunities and maintain customer relationships in Transportation and for other State-owned Public Sector Customers.
- The portfolio will be our wide technology portfolio. Although the right candidate should be able to orchestrate a speech across the complete offering of Oracle in front of a client and work alongside other internal teams to be one Oracle for the customer.
- Promote and evangelize Oracle products to selected customers, partners, and internal audiences
- Develop relationships and collaborate with our partners to define, recommend, and drive sales
- Develop and execute a sales plan that provides complete territory and sector specific coverage
- Develop appropriate sales programs and solutions; maintain up-to-date competitive information and compile regional success stories
- Meet with senior customer contacts to build credibility and develop lasting relationships
- Closing deals winning business etc. as well as developing opportunities
- Engage with Pre-Sales Technical support for customer meetings to develop customer discussions further
- Lead successful go-to-market campaigns by working closely with internal marketing specialists
- Contribute and lead in account planning, customer/market analysis, and strategy sessions
- Contribute individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Being able to orchestrate proposals together with other internal business groups in the same solutions team or others. Understand that is all about the customer.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

We also look for:
- 5+ years of experience in direct software sales to complex/Large Enterprises
- Experience in Transportation and overall Public Sector sales would be required
- Experience in the Central Public Procurement Procedure in Kenya.
- Good understanding of the information technology customer needs and strong technical expertise to become a trusted advisor across a wide technology portfolio.
- Proven track record in a sales-driven organization, selling technology-related products and services
- Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Creative with strong problem-solving skills and an ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work well as part of an extended sales team
- Technology Enterprise Software product knowledge, good understanding of Data Center technologies. Oracle’s technology products knowledge will be considered an asset.
- Deep knowledge of competition in the areas of Enterprise Solutions
