    Human Resource Management and Development Officer

    Job Summary

    Requirements for appointment

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must:

    • Be a Kenyan Citizen;
    • Have Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management OR any related Social Science from a recognized University;
    • Have at least three (3) years’ experience in a Human Resource position in the public or private sector; and
    • Be a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) Kenya in good standing; and
    • Have a Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.

    Responsibilities

    Duties and responsibilities will entail:-

    • Verifying information relating to recruitment, appointments, transfers and human resource management information systems;

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must:-

    • Have served in the grade of Human Resource Management and Development Officer I or comparable position for a minimum period of three (3) years;
    • Have Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management OR any related Social Science from a recognized University;
    • Be a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) Kenya in good standing; and

    Responsibilities

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-

    • A Masters degree in Human Resource/Human Resource Management, Public/Business Administration, Government or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management OR any related Social Science from a recognized University;
    • Served in the grade of Principal Human Resource Management and Development Officer or comparable position for a minimum period of three (3) years;
    • Certificate in Senior Management Course lasting no less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Certificate in Computer Applications skills from a recognized institution;

    Responsibilities

    Animal Health Assistant III

    • Undertaking closed castration, dehorning, de-worming, disbudding, docking, debeaking and hoof trimming; and
    • Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:-

    • Be a Kenyan Citizen;
    • Have a Certificate lasting not less than two (2) years in any of the following disciplines: Animal Health or Animal Health and Production from a recognized institution;

    Short summary of the job: This is the entry and training grade for this cadre.  An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior and experienced officer

    Responsibilities

    • receiving and documenting patients at hospital reception;  
    • registering and booking appointment for patients to clinics and consultants;

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Be a Kenyan citizen; 
    • Be in possession of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum mean grade C- (Minus) or its approved equivalent, with C (Plain) in English or Kiswahili from the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC); 
    • Have a Certificate in any of the following fields: Education, Mass Communication, Public Administration/Management, Social Work/Welfare, Community Development, Disaster Management or equivalent qualification lasting not less than six (6) months from a recognized institution; 
    • Have a Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution; 
    • Be a resident of the particular Community Area stated Above
    • Have high integrity and command respect; and

    Medical Laboratory Technologist III

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinating provision of laboratory services in a number of units/sections; 
    • Preparing work plans and programs for laboratory activities; 
    • Submitting samples to reference laboratories and institutes for further analysis; 
    • Preparing laboratory manuals and quality specifications; 
    • Supervising safe laboratory waste disposal;
