    Driver II

    (CASB 14) JG “E”

    No: 3 POSITIONS

    Basic Salary -15,670; House Allowance – 3,730; Commuter Allowance – 3,000

    Responsibilities

    • Driving motor vehicles as authorized
    • Maintenance of work tickets for vehicles assigned
    • Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicles systems
    • Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle
    • Ensuring security and safety for the vehicle on and off the road
    • Carrying out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, electrical, brake systems and Tyre pressure
    • Safety of the passengers and/or goods therein
    • Ensuring that the vehicle’s insurance cover is up to date at all times

    Qualifications

     For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;-

    • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D or its equivalent
    • Passed the Suitability Test for Drivers Grade III;
    • A valid driving license free from any current endorsements and valid for any of the classes of vehicles which the officer is required to drive
    • Certificate of good conduct
    • A first aid certificate lasting more than 1 week from St. John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution

    Senior Fiscal Analyst

    (CASB 08) JG ‘L’ – 1 POSITION

     Basic Salary -41,770; House Allowance – 22,000; Commuter Allowance – 6,000

    Responsibilities

    Duties and responsibilities will entail:

    • Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the County Government policy option relating to resource mobilization, allocation and utilization;
    • Conducting budget research and summarize the finding in form of a report detailing programs procedures and recommendation;
    • Responsible for fiscal issues affecting the institution;
    • Assisting in development of annual work plan;
    • Assist in preparing and delivering budgetary information to Members and relevant House Committees;
    • Formulating the Departmental Annual Work Plans; and carrying out commissioned Budget analysis and research on specific areas of interest deemed necessary.

    Qualifications

     For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

    • Served in the grade of Fiscal Analyst I or in a comparable position for a minimum period of three (3) years;
    • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines; Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Proficiency in computer application skills;
    • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work
    • Knowledge of IFMIS System will be an added advantage

    Support Staff

    (CASB 14) JG ‘E’

    No: 2 POSITIONS

     Basic Salary -15,670; House Allowance – 3,730; Commuter Allowance – 3,000

     Responsibilities

    • Making tea and serving officers
    • Delivering mail
    • Carrying files
    • Cleaning offices
    • Carrying out various office duties

    Qualifications

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

    • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Certificate mean grade D (plain) or any other equivalent qualification;

    Third Clerk Assistant

    (CASB 09) JG “K”

    Basic Salary – 37,070; House Allowance – 12,800; Commuter Allowance 5,000

     Responsibilities

    • Assisting in ensuring adherence to parliamentary procedure, practice, conventions, tradition and etiquette
    • Research involving search for fresh testimonials by consulting appropriate sources like documents or persons
    • Offering administrative services to the various County Assembly Committees
    • Organizing activities pertaining to seminars and conferences for Members of County Assembly and staff

    Qualifications

     For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;-

    • A Degree from a university recognized in Kenya in any of the fields in Law, Finance, Management, Economics, Education, Planning, Development Studies, Gender Studies or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution
    • Good command of spoken and written English and Kiswahili coupled with report writing skills
    • Proficiency in computer application skills

    ICT Officer

    (CASB 09) JG “K”

    Basic Salary – 37,070; House Allowance – 12,800; Commuter Allowance 5,000

     Responsibilities

    • Coding, testing and implementing computer programs, providing user support; maintaining support systems and training of users;
    • Maintaining of Information Communication Technology equipment and associated peripherals;
    • Certifying of Information Communication Technology equipment; configuring of new Information technology equipment;
    • Maintaining data protection system;
    • Installing and supporting servers;
    • Installing and deployment of relevant hardware and software;
    • Implementing the County Assembly’s computer systems; and
    • Providing user support and training

    Qualifications

     For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;-

    • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Technology or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
