    Telesales Representative Internship

    Duties and responsibilities: -

    Lead Generation.

    • Ensuring personal and team healthy and safety measures are adhered to contact potential and existing customers by phone to inform them of the company's products, services and offers.
    • Receive phone calls of people responding to direct marketing and advertising campaigns.
    • Follow a script to qualify prospects ready to buy and those who may likely purchase their offers with enough persuasion.

    Direct sales

    • Use the data from previous sales to target customers for repeat business.
    • Ask promising leads qualifying questions which can help reveal prospects’ willingness to buy.

    Order processing

    • Take and process orders to meet sales quotas
    • Manage repeat purchases, which provides opportunities to cross-sell existing customers.
    • Use scripts to offer additional products or services based on past purchasing behavior.

    Customer service

    • Offer excellent customer service to all customers
    • Call customers after a sale to make sure they are satisfied with the product or service.
    • Collect, compile and update customer records in the CRM.
    • Provide accurate information about the company, its products or services, promotions and other details.
    • Help to handle customer’s grievances quickly before they become bigger issues.
    • Create and update activity reports on calls, leads, customers, sales and other vital statistics that can help increase revenue.
    • Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals according to the company's revenue targets.

    Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

    • Degree/Diploma in sales and marketing/horticulture or any other related field.
    • Excellent typing and telephone skills.
    • Working knowledge of telephone systems.
    • Knowledgeable about customer relations management software and computer programs required for their duties.

    Human Resource Manager

    (Kshs30,000 – Kshs40,000)

    Our client based in Nairobi is seeking to hire a HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER.

    OVERALL OBJECTIVE

    To make sure that the human resource in the company is properly utilized and proportionally distributed for the company to run efficiently and have the best employee that the company can afford to achieve its objective in the market.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Keeps the register and timing for all employees.
    • Make sure all employees go through orientation programs.
    • Keep record of disciplinary cases and prepare minutes.
    • Handle all labor dispute issues.
    • Staff recruitment.
    • Make sure all trade licenses are renewed.
    • Handle discipline cases of the staff.
    • Renew Vehicle and motor cycle insurances.
    • Update of staff files statutory requirements/company requirements.
    • Replacement of staff, worn-out uniforms and keep records.
    • Order stationary and keep records of issuance.
    • To give proposals for training of staff, research and motivation.
    • Vehicle files should be up to date.
    • Give summary for the week and month regarding staff.
    • Prepare a schedule for leave of staff.
    • Preparing witness statements.
    • Attending court hearing.
    • Give weekly status of legal cases.
    • Handling claims with insurance and giving updates weekly.
    • Liaising with our lawyers and insurance lawyers for information.
    • Occurrence register ensuring all cases are closed within 72 hours.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent.
    • At least two (2) or more years’ experience in human resources or related field.
    • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
    • Experience in educating and coaching staff.
    • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.

    Operations Manager

    (Kshs30,000 – Kshs40,000)

    Our client located in Nairobi is seeking to hire an OPERATIONS MANAGER.

    OVERALL OBJECTIVE

    To make sure that all goods from branches are offloaded and delivered to respective customers within given timeliness. With safety and security at the back of the mind.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Receive goods from branches and take stock.
    • Give out goods for delivery to outside collection clerk.
    • Receive green copies in the evening from outside collection clerk.
    • Reconcile goods issued out in the morning with green copy received.
    • Give daily stock status of remaining goods at dispatch.
    • Give the daily status to our clients about deliveries to their customers, online system.
    • Coordinate and supervise the staff working in the department.
    • coordinate with branches and make sure all customers collection is done and deliveries are done within the stipulated timeline.
    • Ensure all trucks are fueled and mileage issued.
    • Ensure all POD are posted in branch levels and received within the stipulated time lines and handed over to accounts office.
    • Make and present management reports for management team and ensure all departmental SOPS and KPIS are meet.

    Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field.
    • Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
    • Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
    • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Solid understanding of financial management.
