    Stores in-charge

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Oversees all receipts, storage and issues within the stores to ensure timely and efficient service to all internal and external customers.
    • Monitors stock levels on a continuous basis and accordingly alerts the appropriate department in order to avoid stock-outs.
    • Analyzes inventory movement in the stores and accordingly oversees the arrangement of stock items in a manner that ensures quick and safe retrieval of all items when needed.
    • Identifies non-moving stock and accordingly makes recommendations to the Managing Director for appropriate action.
    • Trains the stores teams to achieve error-free service at all times.
    • Reconciles physical stock with ERP records and accordingly resolves any arising discrepancies to ensure that all stakeholders are provided with accurate stock information at all times.
    • Coordinates activities within the stores to ensure that tasks are executed according to their urgency.
    • Assess to ensure efficient manpower utilization at all times.
    • Monitors processes within the stores to establish areas of improvement and accordingly makes recommendations to the Managing Director.
    • Ensures effective and timely communication between employees and the management on matters regarding company policies and procedures as well as employee welfare to promote harmonious relations between the parties.
    • Supervises stores staff to ensure effective and safe use of provided equipment.
    • Liaises with production, dispatch and procurement teams to ensure that space is reserved in advance for all incoming goods.
    • Prepares and shares with the relevant users ad hoc, daily, weekly and monthly reports to facilitate decision-making.
    • Oversees housekeeping in stores to ensure a neat and safe working environment at all times.
    • Maintains accurate records of all transactions within the stores to facilitate easy retrieval when need arises.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Warehouse Management or other related fields.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and at least one ERP system.
    • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role in a busy warehouse.

    Architect

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Design, develop and execute software systems and applications to address business needs
    • Define all aspects of software and app development, from coding standards to workflow and appropriate technology 
    • Identify areas where processes and system architecture can be improved 
    • Provide architectural blueprints to the technology team
    • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform 
    • Work closely with the product team to translate business ideas into technical solutions
    • Keep up to date with technology trends in the industry 
    • Contribute towards creating documentation that enhances organisational understanding and keeps track of decision making 
    • Do code reviews for selected complex stories 
    • Do hands-on coding in PHP, Laravel, Lumen or MariaDB when the need is there 
    • Do architectural reviews to ensure developers interpreted and followed your specifications correctly 
    • Designing and implementing software applications, both backend and frontend

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years’ experience in software design and development 
    • Broad understanding of coding, programming languages and frameworks, especially PHP, Laravel, Lumen and MariaDB 
    • AWS experience and services would be an advantage
    • Good understanding of Microservices and Web API integration 
    • Extensive knowledge of the software development process and corresponding technologies
    • Excellent understanding of design patterns and architectural styles 
    • Experience working on large-scale software projects, ecommerce platform building experience is a plus
    • Knowledge and experience in Fintech and payment systems would be an advantage

    Senior Administrative Officer

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Manages the Executive’s schedule to ensure that all engagements are efficiently aligned.
    • Handles inquiries and delivers messages on behalf of the Executive to facilitate effective communication between the Executive and all stakeholders.
    • Organizes the Executive’s meetings to ensure that all logistical requirements are sufficiently addressed.
    • Drafts, reviews and circulates letters, memos and emails on behalf of the Executive to ensure that every communication is precise but comprehensive.
    • Prioritizes the contents of the Executive’s in tray to ensure that all urgent and important tasks are executed in time.
    • Maintains an effective filing system to ensure that all documents can be conveniently retrieved within the shortest time possible.
    • Coordinates travel arrangements for staff to ensure that the most cost-effective and convenient options are selected in line with the Company policy.
    • Liaises with the relevant Government agencies and expeditiously sorts out any emerging issues.
    • Good knowledge of laws pertaining to corporate entities.
    • Able to competently sort out all issues with statutory bodies.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to effectively multi-task.
    • Attention to finer details.
    • Ability to follow tasks through.
    • Ability to identify and anticipate the Executive’s needs.
    • Good planning and organizational skills.
    • Good time management skills.
    • Must be of high integrity and confidentiality.
    • Ability and willingness to work beyond conventional office hours

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Public Relations, Customer Care or a related field.
    • Certificate in Computer Studies.
    • Fluency in spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
    • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
