    Deputy Director Technical Support, Content Design Implementation

    Your responsibilities also include

    • To oversee the development of engaging e-learning activities
    • To oversee development, designing and management of compelling digital content for e-learning.
    • To coordinate creation of visual, audio and interactive learning tools
    • To work with subject matter experts in identifying target audience’s training needs
    • To apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods in improving the experience of virtual learning
    • To decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
    • Create visual, audio and interactive learning tools
    • To oversee maintenance of project documentation and course folder
    • To analyze and fix disconnections between learning performance and available tools
    • To generate the layout of the learning supports and provide technical support in matters of content delivery
    • To maintain knowledge of current innovation in the sector regarding the use of learning technologies
    • To oversee the helpdesk and customer service activities
    • Supervise content design staff
    • Supervise help desk staff

    Requirements

    • Master’s Degree in relevant area of specialization.
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience at Grade 10 and above within MKU or at a similar position in a recognized academic institution.
    • Experience in handling technical issues in an elearning environment

      OR

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of specialization with at least 5 years’ experience at Grade 10 and above within MKU or at a similar position in a recognized academic institution.
    • Experiencing in working in an eLearning environment

    E-Content Design and Implementation Coordinator

    Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience at Grade 9 and above within MKU or at a similar position in a recognized academic institution.
    • ICT Certification in a relevant area of specialization
    • Experience in an elearning environment or in e-content design and implementation will be an added advantage

    • ICT Certification in a relevant area of specialization

    E-Learning Coordinator Dibel Students

    Key responsibilities also include

    • To supervise user activities in the in the e-learning portal ensuring that students are engaged in appropriate activity and the area is welcoming for all
    • To provide front line support for virtual students including basic ICT 2upport and technical queries on the e-learning platform
    • To provide front line support for tutors and learners for all ICT Based eLearning Platform
    • To assist learners in researching work and finding online resources through the university e-library
    • To advise and assist students to identify their learning resource needs
    • To provide a high quality level of customer service for all users on the use of the e-learning platform
    • To assist in the collection of data for statistical reporting of eLearning activity
    • To participate in staff inductions in the use of the eLearning Platforms
