    Office Assistant/Cleaner

    As an Office Assistant/Cleaner, your responsibility will be to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties.

    The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.

     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Dusting, damp wiping, washing or polishing the furniture, ledges, window sills and external surfaces of cupboards, shelves and fittings.
    • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment (if any), in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
    • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
    • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
    • Cleaning toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
    • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
    • Make adjustments and minor repairs.
    • Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
    • Replenishing consumable items (soap, toilet rolls,) if required
    • Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
    • Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed by all staff & customers.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven working experience as an Office Assistant/Cleaner
    • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
    • Good communication skills in both English and Kiswahili
    • Integrity
    • High school Certificate

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Constantly audit existing processes aiming to improve efficiency and quality
    • Documenting policies, processes and procedures for debt collection and recoveries
    • Developing, managing and refining collection strategies to optimise recoveries
    • Continuous improvement of collection processes, metrics and tools
    • Create necessary reports and analysis and regularly provide the updates to stakeholders
    • Understand the existing data and search for other data points to help make better predictions and analysis
    • Effectively forecast on staff, figures, KPI and facilities

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

    • 5+ years’ experience in running call center teams
    • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done while also capable of leading complex strategy discussions
    • Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders in a matrixed organization
    • Strong data acumen with ability to read the data and understand which data is needed for accurate analysis
    • Confident Excel skills and proficiency with creating reports

    Recovery Officer (Asset Finance)

    As an Asset Finance Recovery Officer you will be responsible for timely asset finance recovery where the other methods of collection proved to be ineffective.

    A successful Asset Finance Recovery Officer is expected to adapt to the fast-paced culture of both the company, the market and the customers we serve.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Monitoring and controlling the assigned Asset Finance Portfolio using Company software
    • In cooperation with other members of the Asset Finance Recovery team, identifying overdue clients who have failed to comply with the contractual payment schedule, and where the telephone follow-up deemed not effective
    • In cooperation with other members of the Asset Finance Recovery team, prioritizing the collection assignments in accordance with our collection policy
    • Proposing the best client handling and debt collection strategy to the Recovery team and the Head of Asset Finance Recovery
    • Using GPS tracking technology, identifying location of the collateral and approaching the client at the field
    • While in the field, identifying and applying the most efficient communication tactic persuading the client to close his overdue and return to payment compliance
    • Repossessing collateral once all previous communicational attempts have failed
    • Maintaining records and providing daily feedback on outcome of assignments and number of collection to the Head of Asset Recovery
    • Providing training and sharing knowledge with new employees/interns/trainees employed by the Company

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills including written communication

    • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related studies
